It's the perfect size for my very large cup of tea in the morning. It works very well. BUT - as noted by others, it is very fragile. I broke mine within a week. Amazon replaced it right away, no problems there. I will attempt to treat it very carefully and hope this one will last longer.

The overall quality and design of this Fearnley Glass Teapot is five star.I use a diffuser with it on a gas range. Without it the teapot get too hot. You will need a pot holder as well.When the water reaches a boil, I place (in the stainless steel well with the fine mesh filter) 2 tsp of ground dark roast and turn off the heat. It brews absolutely perfect café. Nothing plastic about his experience.I really love this product. It is Japanese! thank you.

I recently purchased the Fearnley Glass Teapot to add to my collection. I was drawn to this particular pot because of the elegant glass body, but was a bit nervous about using it directly on the stove as instructed. I have used the tea pot well over 10 times now and I have to say, this was a fantastic addition! I heat the tea over medium and have no issue with the handle getting hot to the touch. This is the perfect size for my husband and I (about two medium cups).

My wife and I just returned from a trip to India and we bought back a variety of flavored teas. This teapot works great for that purpose. Just stuff your tea leaves in the canister, fill pot with water and boil. Just that simple. The pot only makes (2) cups of tea per. That's perfect for us, but may not be enough for others. .Be advised that the handle does get hot, but nothing a pot holder or dish towel can't handle.

I received my teapot quickly and in perfect condition! I love that I can brew larger pots of my favorite loose leaf teas on my stove so I can have more than one cup! I love that I could also make bagged tea in these, but appreciate the loose leaf pot so much more. Plus it looks so nice in my kitchen with it's versatile look! Now to go make myself a cup and cuddle up on the couch!

Pretty, fine metal "tea mesh" so very little of a very fine of tea leaves are coming through, does keep tea hot, no "dripping" tea on the table after you pour your cup. I would by it again if I need another one.

Not only is this teapot cute, but it’s super functional. It retains heat really well and is the perfect size to make one or multiple cups of tea! It works well with tea bags or loose leaf tea. Excellent Addition to any kitchen and tea collection.

I was surprised at how small it was--it's only enough for one cup. But it is perfect for the microwave and perfectly steeps the tea. It's a cute addition for my tea collection!
