As soon as I pulled it out of the box I was in awe. The color is perfect, and the little accents on the band are just enough to make it pop without being too much. Nothing but compliments from the moment I put it on. A+

The quality of the felt is good. The leather sweatband and lining also good. The shape of the brim and crown were perfect.I returned this item due to size. I had bought a 7 3/8 to wear with a spec ops recon wrap underneath to cover my ears in winter. Corral style. Worked perfectly.My head measured 22 1/2, so I went with 7 1/4 for a spring hat to be worn with nothing underneath but still to large.Sheplers was excellent handling return. Print label drop at ups. Choice.The only bad thing about the Portage style Stetson is the band. Single handed worst band ever. I would have replaced it with a custom made. I have seen that same band on other Stetson hats.I went back to the Corral style and ordered a 7 1/8 will see how that works.Cost me $7.00 for the return.

I've lived in Texas for half my life... Now retired, baseball caps just ain't cutting the mustard anymore on most of our outdoor activities... I needed a wide brimmed hat to keep the sun burns down to a minimum. I am no cowboy, but I am a Texan... this fits the bill very nicely and is good for just about any occasion, dress or play! Very fine hat. Beautiful band, sits and stays very well even with the wind. I couldn't be happier with it.

I bought this hat for my husband. It is a nice color, perfect fit and I love the buffalo hide detailing. My husband is very happy with it.

The only think wrong is its too big. I couldn't take hat or invoice to flee during a domestic abuse scenario. Things have clamed down and all is ok for the time being. please considered returning the item. I believe it it a 5 an 7/8 and I would need a smaller one if possible. Will you please consider or return the purchase amouth to my p=cardlI need a hat two sizes smaller. I was unable to take with me when I fled a domestic abuse situation to return it then. Please reconsidered the return even if you don't have the corrected size. Thank you.

I bought a 30x 'El Patron', black Stetson on-line for $399 a few years ago and acquired this one to complement my wardrobe. I get lots of compliments, especially from females, on this hat and its color. Who knew? Nice hat and great value!

Nice knock around hat. Use this instead of my more expensive hats. Nice firm brim, medium crown and should hold up for years to come.

a blind buy, but a perfect quality selection. This hat makes me whole, color and all. Aside the outstanding quality, the color is excellent to wear with anything. My black hat can take a rest now. Love it!!
