Waste of time/$
This book is very poorly written, it reads like an essay written by a child. Very short and very little information about the benefits of a vegan diet for dogs v. the risks. I have found more research-based facts by doing brief web searches - would not recommend

EGGS AREN'T VEGAN!
I stopped reading it when she said eggs are vegan! Eggs come from an animal, vegans don't consume anything from an animal

Not enough info
There was not enough information on how to have your dog like this sort of food I doubt very much I could feed my dog potato and have her eat it willingly.

Learn how to make your dogs healthier with vegan dog food.
We are a family of dog-lovers, Growing up, I never remember any time when we don’t have dogs in the house. We usually feed them with dog food which are meat-flavored and that we give meat as treats for them. I grew up with the knowledge that dogs are carnivores. With this book, I now understood that dogs are omnivores who are actually capable of being herbivores. It teaches us to be ethically sensitive about our pets too. That if we advocate vegan diet for humans then it would also be good to advocate it to our pets such as dog since we usually treat them as family. This book is a good read since I've learned a lot about how veggie diet could benefit our dogs. I recommend it to all the dog lovers out there, reading this book would give you good ideas on how to make your dogs healthier.

In the preview the author says dogs can get by just fine on "vegan items like eggs
Eggs are not vegan products. In the preview the author says dogs can get by just fine on "vegan items like eggs, which are rich in protein" which is true except for the glaring fact that eggs are not VEGAN.

Dangerous
This book is dangerous. Just because canines are not OBLIGATE carnivores does not mean that they will have a happy, healthy life without meat. They can survive without meat, but cannot thrive without it and that is an incredibly important distinction this book does not make. Veganism is a perfectly acceptable diet choice for people who can make conscious decisions for themselves, but our dogs rely on us to sustain them and to deprive them of meat because it makes us feel personally better about ourselves is not just irresponsible but harmful to our canine companions.
