Polyurethane Amplifier Isolation Floor Wedge

I bought the Ampwedge so my amp would be louder for me and less loud for the first few rows. This not only helps the soundman mix better and keep the people in front your friends you also keep the bass tones that an off the floor amp stand loses. Super small, light and easy to pack. Amazon friendly price so it isn't the end of the world if lost or stolen.I want to mention that my only reservation about the product was making the amp unstable and falling back. Even with my 4x10 Bassman it is steady!I also found it works great at home, or smaller spaces, so you can hear what the microphone hears.

Well,What can you say about a lump of polyurethane other than it works? It does a good job of supporting my way overweight acoustic amp at an angle to improve projection.

I'm a professional keyboard player, and gig with the Ampwedge weekly (on average) playing jazz, R&B, funk, rock, etc. I use this with a Yamaha DXR8 powered speaker to monitor my keyboard rig. The Lange Ampwedge is a elegantly simple solution to a longstanding problem. I've tried to angle the DXR8 and a number of other speaker solutions to better aim it for monitoring - using direct boxes, gaffers tape rolls, and just about anything else that was handy at the venue. The Ampwedge is light, simple, non-slip, effective - perfect for the job. The fact that it is also small and matte-finish means it's not obvious onstage, which is another plus. Highly recommended.

Great product though I imagined it being a little bigger than it is. However it does the job and that's all that matters. Great seller and transaction. This product arrived quicker than I expected and I did not ask for expedited shipping.

If you own an amp...BUY THIS!!! It makes any amp sound great! It's lightweight and is easier to carry than a metal amp stand. Works on hard wood and carpeted floors/stages. Also works great with sub-woofers! I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and can't get over how much better all my amps sound with the Wedge. Does the job - too expensive for what it is - just a wedge. Nothing more to say but I need to say more to make the minimum review length.

After trying two metal amp stands, both of which had a horizontal piece right in the way of switch jacks on the back of my Roland Cube 80xl, I got the Ampwedge. Much simpler and cheaper way to elevate the amp. Put it on a chair for more projection.

I'm a bass player. I got this wedge because a I had a gift card. But wow! It actually made my rig sound better. 1. it angled it up. 2. It helped to decouple it from the stage which resulted in a more controlled low end. I thought it would be bigger. (current pic did not exist) Either way, it still worked out as a usable piece of gear. The polyurethane will likely out live the amps.
