A good compact DVM
Over 40 years in electronics service and I like this instrument. It includes a thermometric sensor. Users should be aware this is a "true reading RMS meter" which compensates for waveform irregularities. Knowing your power source is always important. Whether it is a true sine wave, a modified sine wave, saw tooth, square wave or something different the meter will integrate it into what the reading would be if it were a true sine wave. This can be good or bad depending on what the power is being used for. Powering an electric fry pan is okay. a persnickety computer maybe not so good. All in all a good tool, it appears to be well made and durable.

For the price it is hard to beat
I cannot seen any difference between this and the Uni-T 139C...absolutely identical. For the price this is a great deal in a decent multimeter. Functions all work as you would expect. As for as safety and protection, it is much better than any other sub-20 dollar multimeter I have messed with and has proper fast acting fuses of the correct voltages. It looks the have an honest cat III rating! Don't get me wrong, if you have more money to spend...like $50 or more...then there are better meters. But its a great deal at this price.

Accurate, Easy to use and read
Has a great solid beep on the continuity testThat is something I always look for first. If it has a buffered continuity tester without all the scratch of a buzzer then it sets the stage for the quality of the rest of the meter. So far it has been solid and I trust it.
