Love use for my pond.

This are your basic bio balls. The one thing I didn't realize is that they are really small. Their probably a little bigger than a ping pong ball. I thought I was ordering the larger ones so it's my fault. I can't complain about them but I really didn't use them because of the size. Great price though.

The bags the balls come in help them from floating around.

These bio-balls were exactly as I expected and were the perfect size for my pond skimmer box. I always order a couple boxes and will put a bag full of them in my pond skimmer and waterfall boxes. I am always mindful of the size of any bio-balls I use as I do NOT want any that are too small in size so they are not able to get into/clog my submersible pump....should they get loose from the bag I place them in. I have had this happen w/smaller size bio-balls so now I am extra cautious about what I use. Good product!

I am absolutely flabbergasted at how well these work. First time in 10 years that the water in my pond has been so clear that I could see the bottom! NO more algae green water. Took about 3 weeks for the transformation to happen. The water quality slowly improved until now it is crystal clear.

They're nice but I don't really think they do much for my pond. I have them installed correctly, but I'm still getting algae growth. Kind of a bummer as I hoped they would have worked...

these are very effective especally if you are expanding your pond , you can move them from place to place and keep the bacteria that works for your pond, keep the nitrate chugging along, but help to keep the nitrite down.Don"t clean them as what you are wanting to transfer are the good bacteria.
