Simple and effective
A brilliant solution for an annoying problem! They grip most surfaces beautifully and the metal cup keeps you're tip from digging a new hole where you don't want one. Just the right amount of weight means it stays where you put it. Small and portable. Too bad that shipping costs double the price. Watch who delivers it and buy other things to share the cost of shipping!

Need more!
My son plays the cello... and this works great on the hardwood floor when he practices. I need to get another one so he can keep one at home and leave one in his case for when he plays elsewhere. It does what it's supposed to... and much easier to use than the ones that you have to adjust each time you use it and tether it to a chair...

Overall: Good
The cello stop is neccessary. I wish it had a little more, "grip". But it works on tile and wood flooring. I am happy I bought this. A cheap price too!

Holds a Cello in place
My son uses this with his cello. Holds it nicely in place, much like I hold my hands in place over my ears when he plays.

works just fine
I purchased for my son in 4th grade for his cello class at school. It has a rubbery smell but it has held up just fine and works well says my son.

Works great but the smell
This item smells like a tire. Soon after receiving my hands smelled like a tire. A little later my cello case smelled like a tire. Now my cello smells like a tire. Works great tho.

Awesome
holds tight. If it slips see if you floors are dirty. If dirty clean and also clean bottom of your stopper

This seems to work well
I purchased this for my son who recently started playing the cello. I can't speak for how well it works on every surface, but we have tile floors and it has worked well for my son. And the low price does not hurt either :)
