ROUGH WEATHER
Bought this for the brand name and actually had to use this due to a stall motor. I was in windy weather about 30mph winds overcast and shot one flare which angled into the water due to winds maybe got 30' high before getting blown into water, fired #2 same thing. Maybe with a little more bang or weight to projectile flares will enable to go high to be seen. Finally got towed in by waving my bright color life jacket and air horn. Maybe it will work & go high with no wind blowing, really don't want to find out.

There if I need it...
This was purchased in the hopes I never need to use it,... but if I do, I know that it is there and I have 8 rounds to attract rescue,...light weight with 4 flares attached and 4 in reserve, easy to store and a shelf life of 5 years,... I can rest easy knowing that this is C G approved.
