Great way to start working out when you have little motivation
I actually was praying one day that God would help me to get motivated to excercise and take care of this body. That same night I went to a weekly meeting I attend, which happens to be in the library of a church. There was a box of free books on the floor and throughout the entire meeting, I could not keep from being drawn to look at the box. When the meeting ended I picked up Leslie's book and kind of grunted, forgetting my earlier prayer. I thought, "I need another book like I need a whole in my head." But, I picked it up and took it home. The next morning it was calling my name. I inserted the DVD that comes with the book, having no idea I was about to embark on a new workout experience. I must say, it was "Exactly what I needed." I was so excited that I found something I could do---rain or shine, in the comfort of my own home--that actually gives you a total body workout in about a half hour each day---that I ordered a copy for my sister in law. I have told many people about Leslie's workout and know that you will get tremendous benefits from this book that can last a lifetime.

Love Leslie Sansone!
I love this book and the DVD. It's not Leslie's best DVD walk (it's only 2 miles) but on days when you've only got 30 minutes for a workout, this is a decent one. Not much about faith in the DVD, but the book definitely makes the connection between taking care of our physical bodies, loving God, and improving our spiritual selves. There is a chapter for every day of a month with exercises to work on every day. These are not difficult things: walk for 15 minutes, think of 3 things to be thankful for, etc. Yes, the book and DVD could be more "religious" but I think the way she's done it finds a good balance to reach as many people as possible. We're not all at the same point in our walks of faith or walks of life.

Geared for Biggest Looser Candidates
This book is geared toward Biggest Looser candidates! It is specifically for people who have not been working out for years and it does incorporate faith into the get fit program. I specifically wanted to see how she wove faith into the book and she had some good thoughts along that line. I've been using her Walk Away the Pounds Ultimate Collection and really like it. I started the Ultimate Collection to use in addition to my regular hour of cardio and my weight lifting workout because my normal workout has not been enough to drop the few pounds I am looking to drop. If you've been using any of her other dvd's the one included in this book will be a let down. I like the fact that she has included faith in her book, but I am not really impressed with the book as a whole.

Wonderful!!!
First of all, the price is remarkable! The book alone is worth the price and then you get a 2 mile workout too! I found this workout to be Leslie's absolute best. The book is designed so that you read a few pages a day for 30 days. She inspires you to exercise through your faith in Christ since our bodies are God's temple and we should treat it that way. Each day has an inspirational message, un-faith-full thoughts we should identify and get rid of, scripture for thought, an activity to apply to your life and a journal page to record your progress. The DVD is easy to follow and has encouraging words throughout. It is very fun to do. The DVD has a section at the end where you get to meet the people who are exercising with Leslie. It was great and inspiring to hear their stories. I highly recommend this program!

Walking the Walk
I have been wanting this book for a long time. I was not disappointed. This book gives you a day by day spiritual encouragement and helps to show you how taking care of you body is part of living for GOD. The work out CD was actually a bit much for me. But I am morbidly obese and I have not exercised for a while. But I was able to complete the whole two mile walk. I have been at it for two weeks and have lost 7 pounds :) I recommend this book to anyone that is ready to begin their weight loss journey and do a devotional at the same time.

Great book and video
This video can easily be done by anyone who can walk, do simple knee lifts, and do low kicks. It is not preachy but does have some faith based references, which I like. The book and video are a great set for anyone who wants to become stronger. The first day I elected to stop when the video reached its 1-mile mark, but since then I have been doing the entire 2 miles. Buy it if you can find it! I bought one used in excellent condition.

Love the DVD!
I was so glad to get a Christian walking DVD and a choice to walk 1 or 2 miles every day. Amazon is the go-to place to find great products for a great price. I am very happy with my purchase and the timely delivery, as usual. The spirit, soul and body theology is a little skewed in Leslie's talk while walking but she is energetic and is very sincere. So, I use it almost daily and that was the goal to find something I can use daily. I am pleased.

Excellent value for money. A two mile workout with lots of fun and a good book to read for more insight.

Great Book - Highly Recommended!
Great book! Biblical principles interwoven and taught throughout, and a chapter a day is a perfect way to keep focused. Leslie is so down to earth and it really comes out in her writing - she just tells it like it is and doesn't put herself above anyone else - she's no different that you and me. The book has really helped me change my inner dialogue. The DVD has a great 2-mile workout, and I love the focus on faith while we walk and I enjoyed the cast members. It's not as intense as some of her other DVDs - great for first-time walkers. Walk on, and Walk in the Joy of the Lord!

Good for beginners
Haven't used it as much as I thought. Thought it would be good for busy mornings. Since I'm not a morning person, it is easy to put off. Good for someone just starting a workout routine.

Aside from how low the music is, it's all good :)
I'm really enjoying the book, but the workout isn't so great...you can barely, and I do mean barely, hear the songs, and it throws me off some of the moves.Other than that, it's all great :)
