Red Devil0736 Speed Demon Acrylic Caulk, 10.1 oz, White

I was doing a home repair project of painting my kitchen cabinets. I realize that there was no kickboard under the cabinets. The prior owners must’ve removed it and never replaced it. So I bought some rubber 2 1/2 inch kick board to put under the cabinets for the final finish. I use this caulking to attach it. This caulking worked beautifully and has a strong grip. Since I am not a professional, there are times when I had to shimmy the kickboard in place a little bit. So I was able to move it around a little bit until it was in the perfect place. I checked my work the next day, and this caulking glued well. It will not come loose! And the price was an absolute steal!

Do not buy this caulk, it turns yellow!! We bought a case of this caulk in anticipation of our home renovations and started using it only 3 weeks after receiving. A couple weeks after we applied it on our crown moulding, it turned dark yellow, light brown!!! Not knowing if its defective or not, I contacted Ron's. Thought they would want to know they are selling defective or old merchandise. But since it was past the 30 days, all they did is refer me to the manufacturer. I will update once I contact them.

I don't know how Red Devil has managed it but every tube of this caulk has an air pocket buried deep inside, so when you squeeze the caulking gun you compress the air and hence the air pressure inside keeps the caulking running out of the tube uncontrolably making for a mess. it also does turn yellow so if you're not painting don't use this.

I wouldn't buy this anymore it turns yellow after couple of weeks and also all 7 tubs I purchase they keep running out after you stop using it even you take it out of the caulk gun
