Good little kit in a compact storage tube... great for a toolbox
I use this for fishing wires in existing walls. If there's insulation in the walls, it can be hard to get the wire to go where you want it to. With these fiberglass rods, you can make the connection, and then pull a wire (or string) back through. I like the fact that it comes in a very compact tube, and that I can store the entire set in a small toolbox.

Rods will loosen.
Rods will loosen.Be careful with these. My run required 12 rods. As we were feeding them down the wall, the 3rd one undid itself and now they're forever inside the wall. Thankfully the line was taped to the tail rod. We finished the project without issues, but now we're 3 short.

It's ok, but it's not the best
It's too flimsy and the securing piece for the cables can come undone easilyI was routing this through my attic to do a long cat5 run across my attic and I found out about it when the secure cable was MIA when I pulled the rod over.I ended up not even using this thing and just doing the runs myself.

Excellent product, works great for fishing wires through walls & ceilings
Installing security cameras, I needed to run several POE cables up under the eaves and through the attic. Having no previous experience of this I needed the right tools for the job and I couldn't have done it without using this excellent set of screw together rods - perfect for my needs.
