Junie B., First Grader: Boo...and I Mean It! (Junie B. Jones, No. 24)

I gave this girl (daughter) the book she read it in one day.

The book arrived in a timely manner and was just what my granddaughter wanted.

Great book. My 1st grader enjoyed readying this book. He loves all Junie B books.

My daughter loves Junie B!

My 7 year old has almost read everyone of the books in this series. She is very happy to know that more books will continue to come out.She enjoys these books so much, reads me parts that she thinks are really funny, & I hear her laughing while she is reading! The only negative thing I have to say is, I don't like that name calling that's in it. It's part of elementary grade school, but just like to hear stupid, smelly, mean, etc. Otherwise, we love reading these books together at night. I find myself laughing & wanting to keep reading!!;)I do recommend this series, it was the first chapter book series i got her in first grade & she moved up from the middle of the class in reading to the highest level in just a few months! It has turned her into an great reader. She is now a grade level ahead in reading. This series made her want to read, & she loves it!!!

My daughter just turned 7 and loved this book. The whole series has been great for her and has her really enjoying reading.

My granddaughter loves reading all the “Junior B.” Books. She was surprised when we gave this one to her as an early Halloween treat!!

Barbara Park knew how to capture the funny, innocent, social awkwardness of being young. Junie B is every parent's nightmare. She is not a naughty child. She is simply learning how to navigate in a big world full of unwritten rules about what a first grader should and shouldn't say and do.The story is simple and well written. The vocabulary is great for an early reader.I have to admit I am not fond of Junie's tart little sayings at times. I do not allow my kids to use words like "stupid" which are thrown around liberally in the book. I have made clear to my kids they can read Junie B, but if I ever hear Junie B-ish words coming from their mouths, Junie B will find herself at the half price bookstore on the corner.

My granddaughter really likes all the Junie B.'s. I love that she is an avid reader at age 7 and I like these books, too.

Great book

I bought this one for my primary school daughter and I should say she really loved it. Good one to encourage reading.
