Nice warm, soft blanket!!
I am a scorekeeper for my 9yr old son's baseball team, and weekday games are always 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Once that sun goes lower than the surrounding trees, the winds just pick up and it gets super cold. I admit that I get cold pretty easily...even with 5 layers on top (including 1 heavy jacket), leggings under jeans, and sitting on top of another heavy jacket on the cold metal bleachers. And I hate being cold! I bought this blanket in hopes of finding a somewhat heavy, thick, WARM blanket. Being soft was a nice-to-have, but wasn't required. This blanket actually met all expectations, including the soft feel. wow, its really nice. Anything that was covered by this blanket was nice and warm! Even through the wind! I love this blanket. I'd request making a poncho-like jacket out of this so I can just walk around with this thing on without getting weird stares. But heck, I don't care. I'm WARM. I still have to do the wash test tho - see what gets removed when that happens. I'll try to remember to update this once I do a wash.

Soft and long! Great for tall people!
My husband is 6'3" and blankets are always too short for him. This one is very long, and wide too! Great for a taller person to really get cuddly with! And it is super soft!

Comfortable
I bought this for my hubby for watching tv in the family room. This is our family hang out and everyone has their own throw. He wanted purple and so this fits his wish perfectly. Really soft and warm enough that it’s not overpowering.

Incredibly soft, but started to fray after only a few weeks.
I bought the Moonen sherpa blanket to drape over the end of my queen-size bed. Both sides of the blanket are incredibly soft and cozy. Unfortunately after only two weeks the blanket has started to fray on the side with the color.
