EZ-104 EZ Oil Drain Valve

Got this to use on a 2014 Ram 3500 with Cummins Turbo Diesel. It works PERFECTLY. It includes a gasket and is very easy to install. Once on, don't worry about it. It doesn't open by itself, and doesn't stick down too far. As another review said, it's just behind the axle, so it would take a lot for it to get hit. It made draining the engine way too easy. Use it with the EZ-H001 and a 3.5 gallon bucket from Home Depot with a Gamma-seal lid. Put a short length of hose on the H001, screw it onto the EZ-104, take the top off the bucket and slide it under, and open the EZ-104. Wait until it stops dripping, close the EZ-104 valve, and unscrew the H001. Slide the bucket out and put the lid on, and take it to an auto parts place to dump the oil. To get the oil filter out from the side, use a REAL 1-gallon ZipLoc slider FREEZER bag, and drop it in when you unscrew it. Seal the bag and pull it out from the side. Real ZipLoc freezer bags are thick enough that they won't rip when you pull it out from the side. Absolutely NO spilled oil with this method.

My Dodge truck drain plug is in the middle of the pan, and I always got oil all over. Now it is just a turn of a lever.

Fits my 2011 6.7L Cummins perfectly. Makes oil changes easy (with the thread in adapter) by having control of the valve, I can fill up jugs with oil and not use a drain pan. Some say it drains slowly but I don’t have a issue with it when I change oil after driving the truck to get the oil hot/warm. I’ve been using it since 2017.

Unfortunately this arrived defective and I did not try to install it right away. By then the return window at Amazon closed. I ordered a Fumoto as replacement and wow is it way better. It is much heaver and clearly much higher quality. This one is chrome plated steel but the Fumoto is brass. This one is from China sold by a distributor (Global Sales Company) and the Fumoto is sold by the Company and made in Japan. I know other people have rated this one highly but I bet neither has compared the two side by side as I did. Don't but this cheap knock off. Buy the original and best from Fumoto it is about the same price and way better! You can go to www.fumotousa.com and have a look for yourself. I could not decide which one to buy and wish I had done my research before I made my purchase. Oh well I am using it as a small paper weight on my desk, all be it an expensive one.

Fit the 6.7 cummins perfectly. I kind of wish the Oring was a little larger but so far no leaks after 1 oil change and 5k miles. It does drain slower than just the regular plug but this makes changing the oil so much nicer and cleaner.

I really do like this product I have a 6.7 Cummins diesel and when I did oil changes I mean oil got everywhere I look for an alternative solution besides taking it in to have the oil changed and found this product I installed it and sure glad I did I turn the spring loaded valve to open the oil and it comes out nice and slow but not too slow without getting oil everywhere A+
