Poor odour filtration
I bought the Pro 125mm and was sent the Hobby version. After returning it and receiving the right product I tested it. No matter how I set it up the filter let the odour through at the end that connects to the ducting. I thought it might be a problem with the carbon distribution in the filter so I left it standing up hoping that gravity might redistribute the carbon more evenly (I did not want to shake it in case it caused more carbon to leak out.) This did not help so I have had to tape up that end of the filter so that the air only passes through the other end.Thinking this must be a one off, I bought and tested a 100m Pro filter. It has exactly the same problem. Every time I lift or move either of these filters carbon falls out of them. I thought the carbon in these filters was supposed to be packed tightly and evenly inside. Rhino make a big deal of their filter system.I have a generic 100mm filter that works perfectly with no carbon leakage. I thought if I paid more I would get a longer lasting filter but the Rhino Pro filters I bought are rubbish at filtering smells and leak carbon everywhere. A complete waste of money! Look elsewhere if you want a filter that works.

Good carbon filter......period!
These are good carbon filters, if someone is displeased with initial performance, then they haven't set up correctly, or are using Inferior duct pipe or tape or clamp rings. If u get the small ones, (300mm), as stated before by someone smart "remember to replace every 6-8 months I would say.I bought a large one a while back(600mm) I think, and it lasted around 2 years. So spending a bit more gets u a lot more. Good filter, but as always, be diligent! Also (and I can't believe I'm actually sayin this) if they don't work on initial set up, turn your flipping fan round!

Works well.
I do a lot of full mash home brewing, and use this filter in conjunction with a 6" extractor fan, to remove the strong odours coming from the brewing beer. The filter has been in service for about 2 months now, as is working well. The outlet can be unscrewed, and fitted to the opposite end of the filter allowing the filter to be reversed to extend its life, which I thought was a clever touch.

Best filter ive used
I grow in 2 smallish tents a certain smelly plant, over the years ive settled for cheap filters and in full honesty they never work. You can always smell something coming through. These rhino filters though, this is the first time ive used them and am absolutally happy that i decided to spend a little more on my filter. I cant smell anything what so ever, i draw air in through and extract into my kitchen. Even if i leave the kitchen door closed all day, when walking in there you cant smell anything at all.Certainly worth the money, they have gained a life long customer here.

Well worth the investment.
Excellent filter. Mines still going strong after months of use. Keeps those pesky smells to a minimum.

Hobby Carbon filter
Works well no complaints, I used the 4 inch hobby filter for a small area and no smell or problems. Dosent last too long but for the price it was a great buy.I gave three stars just because it's a basic option and if you spend more you get better so really it just depends on your situation 🙂

Expensive for what I recieved
Bits of carbon in the box and loose bits of carbon falling out.hope it's not broken as I have no option to not use it right now haha if you catch my drift.

Best filters I’ve used & always my 1st choice.I’ve been using these filters since they were known as Phat filters.Company rates product at 2 years, but they really last closer to 3 years.
