DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolor Paint Tube (Permanent Alizarin Crimson, 15ml)

Wonderful paint.

Tricky to use. Really explodes into a lot of the many ways of mixing watercolor. Little dab will do ya...much like Pyrrole red.

I bought this to fill a pot on a travel watercolor kit -- I typically work from pots than out of the tube (because I'm a weirdo) -- and I am blown away by the vibrancy and strength of the color even after it has settled and dried into the pot. Daniel Smith will probably become my go-to paint based on this experience.

I really love Alizarin Crimson Red but stopped using it when I realized that the lightfastness is so poor. So I did without it for a while because if I was selling my paintings I wanted them to last. After a while I decided to bite the bullet and buy a tube of Permanent Alizarin Crimson and I'm really glad I did.

I'm a professional artist. I go for quality paints with permanence. This product has it.
