Great product and even better price- instructions on building it
The total was $32 including free shipping. The shipping was really fast especially for the size of the condo. I have been trying to find a cat condo under $60 that was durable enough to survive three big feisty cats and big enough for them to climb and sleep on. Some reviewers said that the top level was too small for their cat to sit on but both my medium size cats can sit there comfortably enough to nap. My largest cat can still sit atop of it but not really lay down but he's a fairly large cat and he can nap on the first level. It has a couple of dangling toys which they play with a lot and its been over two weeks and they haven't fallen off which is pretty cool. The fabric it very nice and plush and not to hard to clean. It's sturdy enough for my 200 pound friend to sit on btw lol.The only negative I have is that it doesn't come with good instructions and you have to build it in a specific order but it's a really easy puzzle to solve and you can always find instructions online but I'll write down how I built it.(instruction image)[...]1. Take note that the box should come with three scratching poles with screw ends and one without a screw end. It should have three regular size bolts, one small bolt, and a double ended bolt. The base will have holes on three corners and one in the middle. The middle level will have three holes in the corners and the top will have one hole in the middles. There should also be a tunnel with a hole in the middle but it might be hidden with in the fabric. The box also comes with a little tool to turn the bolts but you might want some sort of monkey wrench when connecting the double ended screw.2.You have to start assembly with the middle level. This level should be upside down(carpet facing down) so you can manually screw in two of the three poles with screws sticking out. You have to screw those two in the holes that DONT go all the way through the wood. The middle level has one hole that goes all the way through and is where the top level will be connected to. Even if you tried to screw in one of the poles, it wont tighten so you can tell if that pole doesn't go there. The pole with no screw ends will eventually end up being connected with the double ended screw. The middle level should be placed upside down with two poles sticking up. you place the one pole with no screws on the hole that goes all the way through but don't screw it in with the double ended bolt yet, you put it there so that you can align and connect the base.3. Now you have three poles sticking up from the upside down middle level. From here you take the base, turn it upside down and align the three holes with the three poles. Be sure to keep the one unsecured pole aligned. Then you take three of the regular bolts and screw them in using the tool provided which will also secure the one pole that wasn't connected before.4. Now you can turn the structure right side up with the base on the bottom and the fabric facing up. Here you take the double ended bolt and screw it into the corner where the hole goes all the way through. This is when you might need a monkey wrench or something since the double ended bolt doesn't have a head and it's hard to screw in with just your fingers. Once that's screwed in you can attache the remaining pole to the other end of the double ended bolt. From there you can attach the top level to the screw sticking out of the last pole.5.The tunnel gets attached with the smaller bolt. It's a little tricky since the hole in the tunnel is covered with the furry carpet fabric which makes it hard to align to the middle hole of the base and hard to get the small bolt the grab on. I read that some people don't bother attaching it but I liked it so I went through the trouble.Once it's all said and done you can feel how sturdy the condo is and it's fairly good quality. My cat's use it every day and I would buy three of them if I could. You can't really choose the color you want but I got a grey one which is really nice.

Though I have a smart cat that grabbed the mouse and jumped down with ...
For the price, it did its job. After a year though, the top seat got so loose and we couldn't tighten it, so the cat doesn't really use the top anymore. The circle IS small, so it's only intended for kitties. My cat stripped the hanging mice toys off in about two minutes! Though I have a smart cat that grabbed the mouse and jumped down with it, thus ripping it from the top. Nothing would hold them in in that case.Overall, would buy again. It's one of the cheaper posts, but is sturdy for the most part, and the size was perfect.

Kitties love it!
So, there's lots of reviews out there pointing one way or another so let's try to set things straight:1) The item is well made - sturdy without being clunky. With three cats, one of which is large and the other normal-sized and the third is small, it has been put to the test. They run and jump onto it or launch themselves off without the risk of toppling.2) It isn't too tall, coming up to my natural waist at the tallest platform (I am 5'5").3) The platform sizes are suitable for normal to heavy cats. My big male can sit on the top one and survey his kingdom while the little princess sprawls below him on the middle.4) The tube is indeed to small for a normal-sized adult cat to go into HOWEVER if you have a smallish cat (5 pounds or less), they can certainly crawl in or at the very least, they can play in the tube or lay on top of it. It's great fun to stick a feather wand in the tube and watch the paws try to reach through and get it.5) The fabric is soft. I say "fabric" and not "carpet" because it really isn't carpet at all! It's very soft and silky and my cats don't like to scratch it at all - they prefer carpet! They also don't really like the fiber-covered support posts.6) The mice are an absolute favorite! They stay attached alright - we haven't lost one yet and the cats play with them all the time but I know we're gonna lose one soon.In the end, I think that this is a great item for the price and with the Prime free shipping it was an absolute steal. My 3 cats love it and it has kept them off of my brand new couch. Other than when I was writing this review, I don't even think about how they don't use the tunnel!

poor quality, no screws or instructions provided
This cat tree is HORRIBLE. It's poor quality, just some fuzzy fabric stapled to particle board. If i had know, I could've made a better one myself. It also did NOT come with screws to assemble it.The instructions say (WITH these typos):"NOTE:1) please confiem all the parts when you get it.2) plesae follows the digits tp build up the cat firniture step by step."BUYER BEWARE. I'll be returning for a refund. :(

Pretty good overall but check for safety before use
I wasn't exactly sure what color this would be from the photos but it has white posts and light grey covering the rest.Pros:-compact-fairly easy to set up-the mouse toys attract the cats to it, they love them!Cons:-The tube had some rough dried glue inside that I was worried about because it had dried to a sort of sharp point. I had to cut it with scissors.-The instructions for assembly are basically useless and the list of parts was inaccurate. I thought I had things missing but it turned out the list was just wrong.-THE BIGGEST con is the overall balance. The bottom isn't heavy enough to offset the weight of an adult cat sitting on the very top. My petite cat is fine however. I solved the issue by placing it next to the wall.Assembly tip:Start at the top and work your way down.Edit: I've had this for many months now. The little mouse was easy for my cat to pluck off but more importantly it has tipped over a few times. The bottom of the stand has virtually no weight so if my cat jumps from the floor to the top it will tip over. I solved the issue by putting a 20lb workout weight into the little tunnel (which cats are too big to really play in anyway). I'm downgrading my 3* rating to a 2*. I wouldn't buy this again.
