Yes, they run small. I am a 8 or 39, average width and I ordered a 40. It was slightly snug and was tight for the first 5 wears. After the break in period they are so comfy. I wear them all day at work and still wear them at home when cooking or on my feet. I love the rocker bottoms and arch support. The leather is high quality and was even colored and soft, yet firm. The wood bottoms had more imperfections than I would have liked to see, but it is real wood. They are quality and should last a long time. I can see having to get the rubber replaced on the bottom after a few years. Good thing there is local shoe shop in town for high quality shoes.

These shoes are very stylish. As expected, they have a wooden sole, so if you are used to jell and ultra cushion soles you will need some adjustment time with these. Speaking of adjustment time, they are very tight across the top of the foot, even when they fit really well. Be prepared to "break them in" for a week or so. For the first 8 days of wear, I would wear them in the morning and then have a second old pair of shoes that I would use for the rest of the day. After a while, the top stretches and the shoes become more comfortable. I wear them without socks. All of the above is a part of wearing this type of shoe, so no complaints. It is worth it and the shoes support your feet well.The only tiny complaint I have is the instructions about not wearing them in the rain. It is possible that I am being overprotective (I love these shoes after all) but I have to check the forecast to make sure there will be no rain before wearing them! :)

These shoes are soooo cute! But one of the shoes came super tight, and the other was super loose. After 3 months I would have expected the right shoe to have been broken in but it has not. I can only wear them for half a day before I have to take them off. I’m a teacher, and I’m often times sitting on the carpet with my students. Due to this, the color on the toes of each shoe is already beginning to fade. For the amount of money I spent on these shoes, I just expected so much more than what I got. I would not recommend for anything beyond a special occasion, only wear for a few hours kind of shoe, but I wouldn’t spend that kind of money again on this brand.

These clogs are very cute and are great quality, I am so sad that they didn’t work out. I ordered up a size and a half and I felt like one of Cinderella's step sisters trying to jam my foot into her shoe. Once I got my foot so tightly lodged into the shoe I couldn’t even walk around without my whole foot slipping out due to the pressure. Not to mention one of the shoes… I couldn’t even get my foot into it. I’d like to say I’m going to reorder but there are just too many variables for the price. I need consistency AND quality. Just didn’t check all my boxes.

I have a very high instep so the shoes didn’t fit. They are beautiful, unique and versatile. They are high quality. If you have a very high arch it may not fit.

I bought these after an embarrassing and annoying occurrence: the soles of my expensive, made for comfort clogs fell apart during an important meeting with a lawyer. I decided not to mess around with plastic, back to the wooden soles clogs of my youth....yes if you run across the snow in dead of night you’ll soon be three inches taller, elevated on “clog made “ snowballs. So hey don’t do that. You’re not fourteen anymore. These were immediately comfortable if not a tiny bit stiff. They can be polished with shoe polish. In short, I adore them

Really liked the shoes but the left shoe was definitely smaller than the right shoe. The right one fit well, the left didn't fit at all, but my right foot is bigger. Now you know that about me. Going to exchange for another pair and see if problem is the same.

Got the shoes and LOVE, love, love them! I followed their sizing instructions. I typically take a size 38 and these are a 40. They were a little snug at first but are already my favorite shoes. Comfortable and cute, these are my goes-with-everything shoes. They look great with jeans and equally wonderful with skirts and dresses. Did I mention I love these shoes? Follow the sizing directions and you will love them!
