Stovall3FH Medium Barn Hanging Feeder

This bird feeder is well made, but a little hard to fill and the squirrels have taken a liking to the flavor of cedar and ate a giant chunk off the side of ours. I like the chain and hanging mechanism. It isn't that difficult to put food in it, but I find the opening a bit narrow and end up dropping food off of it and onto the ground. I was really surprised when I saw my puppy carrying a sliver of wood in his mouth the same color as the new bird feeder. When I retrieved it from him and investigated, it had definitely come off of the feeder, likely the remnant of a greedy squirrel. It looks nice. I'm glad I purchased it, just a bit shocked that the actual cedar wood was a squirrel snack!

Very solid. Not overpriced. It this will last a long time, I'm quite sure. Invest in high quality. Consider how much bird seed costs.With a steel floor flange, I mounted mine on a steel pole with a huge stainless steel mixing bowl as a squirrel baffle. I just use the feeder from November until March. The inexpensive feeder I used to have was overpriced and fell apart after 2 seasons. I kept reinforcing it for years but it wasn't well made.

well made bird feeder and the birds seem to love it. It's bigger than my last bird feeder, and actually made better. I had my previously feeder for over 15 yrs. so I expecting this one to last longer. If you are looking for a well built feeder I would recommend this one, plus the price was very inexpensive
