Talk Spanish 2

Handy little book. I'm using this as the one suggested in my Spanish class but it is easy to use for self study. Yhe CDs are clear and use English and Spanish. Excellent value.

I have been learning Spanish for 7 years now, and found the DVD very useful- it was about the right level for Intermediate/advanced students. I would recommend it for anybody who has a reasonable knowledge of the language- at least 3 years. The language and verb sections were especially helpful.

This pack extends the first BBC Talk Spanish CD pack. Previous material is cleverly recapped and new material added. The same scenarios are covered again - describing people, visiting places, eating and drinking, etc - and that's fine since these are the scenarios in which listeners/readers will need to use Spanish. When you've learned the basics in a language, you want to be able to express your opinion - and this pack gives plenty of ways to do that in different situations (what you like to do, thanking people and commenting on food and drink etc).I've been listening to the CDs in the car, and then reading the book (doing the exercises etc) at home. After a few plays, the material on the CDs embeds itself in your head and you'll find you can indeed Talk Spanish.If the BBC brought out a Talk Spanish 3, I'd buy that too!

A good book, with lots of day-to-day situations in which to practice, and lots of frequently used vocabulary. It also gives a brief insight into the Spanish culture.

Good book,easy to learn

This pack is great. I used it with a tutor and we worked our way through with additional grammar points etc. It is very well done and has a variety of activities. The best bit about it is that it is aimed at adults so there is no irrelevant material. I thoroughly recommend it.

This is a good reference if you would like to improve your Spanish from advanced beginners to pre-intermediate level. Without the CDs, this book would not take you further. So I strongly recommend to buy this book with the CDs.
