Bought this for 9 year old kid as it says for 8+.Unboxing packaging: product came safe , Un damaged.First Impression:Lift - heavyBuilt - strongHeight - total height of Scooty after extending the handle bar - 2feet 6 inches( 83 cm tall)Review after first usage:The scooty is solid built , heavy , short or tall enough for kids height upto 5 feet.As kids age and height wud differ I wud say it only comparing the height of kid to the scooty.Testing a 5.6 feet tall person on it showed he had to bend to ride. Though the base is solid and can take weight upto 143 lb , it is only for kids who are upto 5 feet to 5.2 feet tall maximum.For such a solid built scooter I don’t understand why there is no more extension for the height.Led tires and sparks are fun for kids.**Brakes -not yet tested on water surface !Cons:1.built very solid but tall kids should check for height once.2. As it’s very solid built lifting Is hard for kids.3. Small stunts , rotated can hit kids legs and because it’s solid and heavy it’s prone to hurt a bit.4. Always knew spark will remain for few days. Yet to test for few more days!5. Being so solid built it should have a 3 inch extension at the least.6. If staying in hot places alluminium body will be prone to heat.Over all this scooter will or may go for 1 year or two for my 9 year old being 4feet 3 inch.Overall a fantastic scooter if all the cons are looked after.

My son really wanted this for his birthday, and he was thrilled when he opened it. He has been scooting everyday and loves making sparks fly. His scooter before this one was a very slow three-wheeler and I expected he would need some time to adjust. However, I was happily surprised. This scooter is easy to ride, and perfect for my 7 year old.

This was a perfect birthday present for my son! He lives to have “light shows” with his scooter in the late evenings/night. It seems to be of great quality-as expected from Razor. The only drawback is that the spark cartridges are impossible to find in stores. We ordered some off Amazon, and they work, but don’t fit quite as well as the one that came with the scooter.

Got this on a discount from Amazon warehouse. It was brand new in the box it was so worth it!! Had him for a few months now and they still go out and play on an every day

the little spark piece by back wheel - which the selling point - is not very durable for a young boy - they are tough and durable - the rest of the scooter is good and standing up well

My son really loves the light up wheels and the flint, the flint does run out quickly so I suggest ordering a refill pack when ordering the scooter.

My son loves it. He thinks the sparks are cool. Only thing is he is wanting to do tricks on it and says the spark thing is in the way and the wheels are too small. But he loves it to just ride around the neighborhood and make sparks.

My son loves this scooter, we got a good deal on it here about $20 less than at target. The only thing is the cartridges don’t last too long and they are expensive to replace.
