I did not write a review sooner because i got this for a trip to the moutain, I wanted to see how it would hold up with the cold weather and the snow. Well let me start off by saying it is really warm. Taking off the hood having it around my neck kept it warm on the way up, way better than a sarf would. We got to our destination it was freezing 30 degrees but it kept me really warm! I also didnt have a problem talking it was easy for people to understand what i was saying. Four hours after it started snowing the hood did feel a bit wet thats because i was snowboarding. Regardless of anything I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this hoody for any cold weather, keep in mind it wouldnt be much use for rainy weather.

I live in Southern Idaho where we get plenty of snow and cold wind. I was looking for a product to keep my face and neck warm in our cold outdoor temperatures. I had tried a couple of other balaclava's; they were too tight and very restrictive. This one is perfect! It is lightweight but very warm, and it is large enough in the hood portion to not be restrictive to head movement. If you want it tighter, it has drawstrings. Love this product, and would definitely buy it again!

I work late at night and it’s always so cold when I leave work. I bought this to put on when I go home. It’s very warm! Very warm. Only drawback is I wish the part that went around your mouth was tighter. Air seeps through, even with the hood cinched up. But it covers my neck under my coat very nicely and the hood is plenty big enough to cover my whole head and provide a bit of an overhang for falling rain or snow.

I like to walk outside whenever possible, but winter weather hurts my face. I tried wrapping it in a scarf, but it was either too thick to breathe through or too thin and kept slipping off my nose. A balaclava seemed to be the solution. I ordered this one because it came in the color I wanted and seemed lightweight. I love it. It takes up little room in my backpack and is surprisingly warm.

I wanted something to keep me warm while making me visible to drivers when I'm on the street. Pored over the colors and selected what was rather vaguely listed as blue, but looked a lot more like a deep turquoise. The plastic bag that arrived is labelled blue, but its contents are a rather very dark, dull almost indigo color. I'd totally blend in with the background by dusk and thereafter. It's soft enough right out of the bag, though I don't know how much it'll pill after washing. A bit of a snug fit to get over my head, but warm & cozy-feeling. Would likely be heaven for a bald person or a 'tween-young adult. Four-way seam at back of neck is a bit askew, but it seems secure. Assuming it doesn't pill or shrink much it may be worth purchasing if you have a smallish head and don't mind what color actually arrives.

This is so super soft. A bit on the small side. Fits me well, maybe a hint too snug, bit it does the job. My husband cannot get it on. I originally bought it for him but now I throw it on with a flannel to take out the dog.

Very thick!! Very warm and great for windy weather but its too loose and the sides can obscure your vision so fold them in to make it easier and do the same for the face cover coz it lets wind pass to the nose and mouth area

Pros:1) soft on skin material, good length, acts as windbreaker.Cons:1) allthough soft, the material does not breathe at all, after 15 minutes of skiing, I was pouring sweat and it felt as if I had a wet cloth bag over my head that was drenched in sweat and heavy.2) the top part that covers the head feel narrow and a bit tight, as well as the face opening seems to be made for a smaller size head or a kid, part that covers the mouth/nose, always ended up sliding back into my eyes, and because of the tight fit it felt like i was wearing a scuba diving suit/mask, or a gas mask, where it should feel more like a hoodie.To summarize, I would not recommend it even for a smaller shaped head person, due to the material it is made of. Does not breath, gets soaking wet from the head sweat the 1st 15 minutes of activity, then becomes a wet dumbbell. Smaller than usual face opening with a narrower head top.Personally for me, it completely defeated the purpose of having one the first 10-20 minutes, became useless and even more of a problem, so I had to take it off and just put on a hat, and I never looked back.Ps.I ended up using it as a rag to clean my car with in the end.Look for something else.
