Arrived today.
I liked the chess set, although one of the pawns magnet and sticky cover had come loose in transit, I pushed it back in. the magnets do not seem very strong, ill do a upside down test when I get home and up date this review. The magnets are too far in the pieces do don't stick very well, mine was marked,feels cheap. I have returned mine,not worth the money. The pieces do feel solid and a good weight, but not worth the money. The squares on the board have gaps that spoil the look, one of the clasps was iffy too.AVOID.

Great travel chess set
This chess set is significantly superior in quality than some other travel chess sets on Amazon and well worth the additional cost. Highlights:- The wooden board has a nice finish and weight- Nice detail on the pieces- The pieces are securely stored in foam- The pieces are clearly differentiated from each other, although the rooks are a bit tall!- The magnets are strong- It isn't plastic!- Board is a decent size (approx 25cm)- Very nice packaging if giving as a giftOverall this is an excellent small chess set which is also a great size for children. Highly recommended!

CHESS SET - Folding Board/Magnetic pieces
Great product, nicely presented. My Grandson's 1st Chess Set (aged 8), he loves it. Great to travel with.

One piece (white king) had magnet missing
Magnetic pieces, which hold on ok, but no magnet on our white king, which kind of makes it useless for travelling.

Really good set for the money
Very happy with this set, bought as a present for my 9 year old who refers to it as a “fancy” chess set. He was really happy with it too.

Really Good Product
