Dwarf Rabbits (Complete Pet Owner's Manuals) Paperback – May 1, 2008

We are first time dwarf owners and this sweet book was ever so helpful.

It is a nice book, full of pictures and examples. It is very basic knowledge. It does not go too in detail on the many things it touches on. I believe most of what was inside could have been googled. But overall I nice book for those looking for very basic about dwarf rabbits.

This slim book offers a surprising amount of valuable and practical information. I love the great ideas and photos of how to set up an adventure playground, and how to provide plenty of activities to keep your rabbit happy. Really this book is fantastic for any rabbit owner, not just those with dwarf breeds. As a gardener I also love the table on page 33 which outlines the type of plants (including twigs)which can be offered to your rabbit, and which plants to avoid.Plenty of helpful, practical and creative tips(and great photos) to ensure the health and well being of your pet rabbit.

This book is skimmpy. A complete owner's manual?? Seriously?? I purchase this book along with "My Dwarf Rabbit" and the "My Dwarf Rabbit book" is a lot more thicker with more detail. And has a lot longer list of Dwarf rabbit breeds. But really, both books are a waste of time. I have a Dutch Bunny and will soon get a mini lop (not a dwarf rabbit) or Holland lop, and both books in specialty will tell you about the different breeds of dwarf rabbits, but care, food etc....there's no real difference from any other rabbit care books out there that I've read. Just saying that if you choose to purchase this book thinking like I did that dwarf rabbits need more specific care than any other rabbit, then don't get this book based on that alone. You may get this book for all the cute pictures though.

I am a proud owner of a New Zealand Dwarf Rabbit and I wish I had read this book before we got him. There is so much more to taking care of a rabbit than you think and this book does an amazing job explaining it to you step by step. We hope that this book helps us bond with our little guy and will help make his and our lives much easier.

This paperback is pleasantly compact and concise......a good "starter" book for beginner Bunny Mom or Dad. The chapters covered just enough information to master basic, caregiving skills, find products to set up a bunny home, types/sources for bunny food, common health issues and personality traits. For the price, the book provides an excellent introduction to bunny care, without requiring a huge, upfront investment.

A great book for kids! My daughters have two dwarf bunnies so I got this book for them to help them understand their bunnies better and it worked like a charm! They loved reading this book and got tons of useful information from it! It explains the specifics of the dwarf bunny! You will have a new found understanding once you read this book!

Some useful information but not as good as we were hoping for. Good to purchase if you have read nothing else about rabbits.
