15" Speaker Steel Waffle Screen Grill Kit WG15

Its the right size, and the build quality is good. I have a minor problem with the grill clips that prevented me from giving it 5 stars, and that is the clips are a little small. With my mid-range 15's it was OK, but my subwoofers have thicker rims and the clips would not quite reach without a little creative rigging with some washers painted black and stacked over longer screws. But, like it said, it works fine with the regular 15's. If you have thick rimmed speakers, you may have a little trouble. My subwoofers are Selenium 15SWS800 15" 800W Subwoofers.

The clamps ate hard to hold the grill on. Also, it doesn't work well with my jlw3 or kicker 15. The baffle is too big on the speaker for this to work.

Received this product with about a 6 inch dent on the outer circle. Wrote the company in a respectful manner with my concerns. They wrote back quickly stating they were sorry and was shipping out another one. You know what? Customer service and how they treat problems like this says ALOT about a company. As long as the next one isn't damaged. I would buy from this company again. Shipping was free also.

I am starting a Woofer Project using this 15" Speaker Steel Waffle Screen Grill Kit, to protect the sizeable cone area of a 100$ speaker and it will provide the protection I will need. Contains mounting clips. Good price.

I ordered these from Amazon because my PA speakers I bought used did not have any protection on the 15" drivers...just open cones. These grills are just what it says, 15" speaker steel waffle screen grill kits. I was somewhat concerned when I saw the package, as it was beaten up pretty good, however the contents were just fine. I ordered 2 kits, and got 2 grills, 8 mounting clips, and 8 screws. I got exactly what I ordered, and paid a pretty decent price for them. I looked into making my own using bulk expanded metal, but the price was a lot higher, plus the work to make them. This was the best deal, they arrived quickly, and were perfect. It isn't rocket science. Just needed something to protect my home theater 15" sub. This finished the project nicely.Would agree with others that the clips could be thought a little better, but they do the job nicely.

Got it installed in my car to cover a hole I had cut into the hatch cover in my GTI. Looks sexy with the mesh I also installed underneath this cover.Exactly what I was expecting. Thank you
