Loud and clear
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have a wired doorbell but the chime is not very loud and when we are in the living room, a visitor can come and go unheard. I decided to purchase this door bell unit after reading the reviews. No regrets at all. The door chime is loud and clear. It comes with two plug in units with a choice of chimes and volume levels ( SEE VIDEO) The unit also lights up when pressed for those who are hard if hearing. The manufacturer says it will last a few years and does not need a battery. I'm a bit sceptical about this. What do I do in 2-3 years time? I'd rather buy a new battery than splash out in another door bell kit. For this reason I have dropped a star but I will cross this bridge when I come to it!

Brilliant. Nice and loud. Plug in and play.
No need to 'pair' the base units to the bell push. Mine worked straight out of the box. Lovely looking slimline plug in baese units. Very Loud on max, but has adjustable volume. Happy with the Ding Dong default ring tone. But there is dozens of melody options, even a barking dog!The bell push is robust and looks and feels of quality. Easy to press, as it is the whole front that moves in at the bottom to ring. IP55 waterproof, the level below submersible (unlike many others that are just shower proof) and it never needs batteries! The door push is just stick on cannot be screwed on, and is about 40mm wide. I thoroughly cleaned the area with solvent and warmed with a heat gun to ensure good adhesion. The sticking pad provided is very good.3 year warranty, if you register it with Omeril. All good.

Slimline wireless and battery free door bell system
PositivesMost of the wireless door bell receivers I've seen are so big that they partial block the mains socket next to it making it unusable. These are very slim and only obstruct the socket they are in.The volume is loud but can be adjusted lower as required. I did not have any problems with range, one in the garage another in the conservatory at the back of the house. The battery free bell push works fine, pressing the bell push produces enough power to trigger the circuit.I bought 2 sets but I only wanted to use one bell push. Reprogramming 2 of the receivers to work with it was quite easy.I've given 5 stars for weatherproof but I don't know if this is true or not, time will tell.NegativesThe only negative is that I cannot get two of the receivers to go back to the "Ding Dong" default. I've tried the suggested method many times without success. So unless you are desparate to find the William Tell Overture or something similar leave them with "Ding Dong".Overall I'm very pleased with this wireless bell system.

Very impressed with this - great value for money
The quality design makes all the difference with this – very good-looking, sleek internal receivers with great clear volume and chime quality (with more tunes than you'd ever need or care about). The multicoloured flashing LED on the front of each is a nice touch and gets your attention more effectively than a single-colour flash. Easy to set up and works perfectly with a good signal from the push unit (I'm in a old house so thick brick walls). Some reviewers have complained that the push unit is a bit boxy and slightly 'ajar' at rest – it need to be 'open' as the travel of the button produces the microcurrent required for it to work with no batteries. It feels sturdy, though, and I'd sooner have longevity over looks. Finally, the entire package it was boxed in is recyclable, which made me even happier, and a three year guarantee is included when you register. Hard pushed to find anything to dislike, tbh. The instructions could be slightly clearer (not the greatest translation into English) but I'n nitpicking here. Buy it. it's good. :-)

Plug and play straight away. Over the moon with it
I am over the moon with these. So easy to set up. 2minutes after the box arrived, it was already working on it’s place faultlessly. No wiring, no batteries. Plug and play. Two receivers, so you can use them in different parts of the house. 5 Different volume levels plus a muted with only flashing light. If you have a baby sleeping in the house, simply plug in the receiver close to you and you’ll see if someone coming without waking the baby up. As it’s simply plugs in to the wall socket, you can take it with you. Also has tons of different songs, so if you feeling festive, your dorbell can reflect it well. I use the second receiver in my man cave in the end of the back garden, and it even works that far from the bell, about 20meters or so.This is the third doorbell I bought in the last year, really hope that this is the one that will work for a long time.

Battery free doorbell! Isn't the future wonderful?
Absolute magic. I was a bit skeptical of a doorbell that didn't need battefies. The button on this is really tactile, it has been pressed a fair way and feels oddly nice and clicky and somewhat satisfying to press. Works perfectly without batteries and I really am impressed. The real shame is that it is not waterproof and so can only really be used for flat doors inside. The speaker is decently loud and full of corny tunes to choose from.Impressed that this works so well without batteries. Recommended if you have an indoor use for it!

Seems so far to be a good choice
This bell provides two small and neatly made plug in mains units that connect straight away with an equally neat stick- on door press. In my place it works reliably through two front doors and then over about 16 unobstructed metres. Can't comment on what more it might do. You can easily select your preferred tune and volume and I found the loudest good for me with poor hearing. The door press generating its own signal without a battery is a handy bonus. If it lasts well (and who knows when so many gadgets now offer multiple refinements but soon fail even on their basic function) then this will be a very good buy. At least it starts off just fine.
