This is a great tasting coffee/espresso. I love Nespresso pods, but I learned they have pesticides. I'm surprised they don't give in and just go organic. Sorry, but I rather have organic than just rain forest alliance certified. So, I got this coffee instead and was pleasantly surprised by the smooth taste. It's not as bold as Nespresso, but it's not far off! I would buy this again instead of Nespresso any day.

These aren't the best Nespresso compatible pods I've ever tasted, but the variety of varietals is greatly appreciated, and, especially at the price point, they're pretty decent. The advertised coffee weight per pod is right on point or slightly above (whereas many Nespresso compatible pods are often under weight.) Unlike many Nespresso compatible pods, if you pull the shorts as lungos, they actually still turn out pretty nicely. The crema is decent, and the flavor, depending on the particular varietal, ranges from moderate to good. At first I was confused at what exactly to do with the flavored pods; eventually I decided to go all starbucksy and put individual short flavored shots along with at least two other shorts or lungos and going ahead and making flavored cafe americanos with them - which generally turned out quite well, especially with the vanila flavored pods. I do wish they didn't incllude the decaf in the general trial bundle, and had it as a separate item. I don't think there will ever be a single person within fifty feet of my Nespresso machine who would ever consider drinking decaf.Having tried another dozen or so Nespresso-compatible brands since my original review, I feel the need to lower it from four stars to three. It's still quite drinkable - and the variety is nice - but there are just too many too good Nespresso compatible pods to warrant four stars.

The shipment arrived very rapidly and in great condition. I was worried that Gourmesso wouldn't be as tasty as Nespresso, but my concerns vanished with the first cup. Gourmesso capsules come wrapped, in groups of two, in a candy-style little pouch, which seemed to improve freshness because the coffee was very aromatic, even more than Nespresso. The capsules worked perfectly with the Nespresso machine without any problem and the coffee was extremely flavorful. It is hard for me to choose which brand is better, but I noticed that Gourmesso's coffee was a little less bitter than Nespresso's. I've been using the Gourmesso capsules now for a week and I am sure I'll be buying more in the near future.

It’s very important to remember when using any pods besides nespresso pods, you will not get the same flavor. There is a high amount of air pressure and other methods used to pack nespresso pods. These pods though are a nice cheaper replacement. They taste good for the most part and you do get a good coffee flavor from each one. I use this more for guests and use the nespresso for myself. It does basically save you 50% and that can add up if you drink a lot of espresso.

The Gourmesso pods are much less money and provide a decent cup. They are not as good, IMO as what you get from Nespresso but I will continue to buy them because I can pawn them off on guests to save money on the coffee freeloaders in my life.The pods are made from plastic unlike the aluminum pods from Nespresso. Also as others have commented, they are not as tightly packed with coffee and tend to flow much quicker than the Nespresso pods.I would suggest to anyone to give these a try to see if they meet your needs.

Grotesque! Yes, the actual capsules worked PERFECTLY in the Nespresso machine but the off-label or let us call it "generic' GOURMESSO coffee inside the GOURMESSO capsules I can only describe, based on my recent experience, as downright grotesque. The coffee was 'old' and 'weak' and tasted as if someone had just left it exposed, out in the open for weeks. Yet, the plastic outside packaging and the capsules were intact. However, the coffee was downright disgusting. I suppose that there is some reason that genuine Nespresso coffees and capsules are still well in business and cost a tad more. My experience with GOURMESSO was much, much less than disappointing. I hope you have better luck and feel 'lucky'.

Excellent flavor and works very well in my Nespresso CitiZ. Good supplement to Nespresso pods. Smoother and less intense than Messico Forte. I like this coffee in the afternoon with or without milk. I will definitely purchase more Gourmesso Pods. Good Work!!

I found the taste of this pretty close to the nespresso brand ristretto that I liked. I also found this to be a little weaker. Compared to Nespresso the color coming out changed slightly sooner to cream then white. I started using twice as much so this brand became more expensive.

Die Originele Nespresso haben wohl viel mehr Gesmackzusätze.Diese errinert mehr an standart Kafeemaschine.Ein Grund zur Sorge: die Kaffemaschinne muss sich mehr anstrengen bei dieser Kapsel. (Stärkere Geräusch).Ich hoffe die Maschine geht nicht dadurch kaput.Bin nicht sicher ob ich weiter solche Kaufe.Aber zum Überbrücken bis Nespresso geliefert ist passend.

not good, very bitter and burnt flavor. AND it was shipped in a soft envelope and the pods were busted open. Returned it for refund

Besser als die Anderen

Les capsules de café Nicaragua Mezzo sont agréables en tant que café d'intensité moyenne. Elles se marient bien avec du sucre et du lait, enfin selon mes goûts ! Et puis, les capsules fonctionnent très bien avec ma machine Pixie ! Je les recommande !

Les capsules de café compatibles nespresso sont corrects mais rien d' exceptionnel! Le tarif est correct.mais mon mari préfère les cafés plus corsés.

Commes les autres capsules je suis très satisfait par les capsules Gourmesso, la café est bon et tout fonctionne correctement dans ma machine.

Le Nicaragua Mezzo est un café qui, par son nom et son goût, me fait voyager, moi et mes papilles ! J'ai adoré !
