Huge but worth it!
Love this dictionary! I had a petit Larousse years ago which I lost, and I wanted something bigger (which this is). Really, it is huge but has everything you need to step up your French. Great for intermediate/advanced learners.

A relatively expensive reference work that literally falls apart in your hand.
Given the famous name, this should be a fabulous purchase. Instead, it’s a huge disappointment, because it’s really nothing more than an ultra-cheap paperback that’s had a hardback cover slapped onto it. The pages are simply glued in, and after only one use, they are literally falling right out of the book! This is not a properly bound book!For a big reference work that would get a lot of physical use, all of the pages should be bound as sewn-in signatures, and the binding process itself should be designed to last for years and years. This book literally began to fall apart within a few minutes of it’s first use. It cost ca. $30.00, but I have real paperbacks (not faux hardbacks) from the 1960s that are still readable and in one piece., despite the brown, high-acid paper common to that era. Garbage like this today isn’t worth even ten cents, because how useful is a book, much less a large reference work, that literally falls apart in your hands in the first five minutes of use? It’s worthless, and shame on Amazon for marketing this bad joke.Note that I’m saying nothing about the quality of the content, which is an entirely separate issue, because what difference would that make when the physical object itself is nothing more than kindling? Yes, I do expect a full refund!

Very called complete and easy to use.

It is a good addition to my many teaching aids
I am enjoying the Larousse French/English, English/French dictionary very much. I lead a French Conversation group in a retirement community, and the dictionary comes in very handy with the members of the group as well as for myself. It is a good addition to my many teaching aids.

C'est magnifique!
Better than expected! Not only was it shipped quickly, it was nearly perfect. It is very comprehensive and is helping a great deal as I attempt to read The Three Musketeers en fracaise!

Good dictionary
One of the best hard copy dictionaries of French. Contains the orthographic changes as alternative for all words that were affected.

Good Dictionary. I had other dictionaries but this one is more rich. There is higher chances to find difficult words.Larousse is a very reputable brand for dictionary.
