We have five cats. We used to buy those double or even triple decker scratchers from Target - you know, the cute ones that only last a week when you have FIVE cats. I got tired of fixing the roof or the siding of those flimsy houses and decided to invest in something better. I didn't want to spend a crazy amount, given the cats have a very large, ballin' ass tree already. They love it. But when you have so many Wet Food Fiends running your life, you find yourself scrolling through the cat category on Amazon and bombarding your partner with links to various scratchers.I was initially hesitant that this wouldn't hold up. We have quite a few chonks in our midst, and their fat has definitely caused a roof collapse in the past. Seriously - it looked like a tornado blew through their little taco shack. After a pretty quick assembly, this baby was up and running. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the cardboard. It's very thick and holds up well. You don't have to worry about using any sticky peel-off tape to connect sides like you do on those flimsy houses. This bad boy can withstand three cats running, jumping, and absolutely zooming at insane speeds all at the same time. I have no idea what kind of science is behind this, but it works, and thank goodness for that. I am SO tired of handing out eviction notices and assembling new homes for them every other week.I was also concerned that this scratcher would be a bit too tiny. It's actually the perfect size for them to easily jump on top and scratch the sides as they please. We have it located right next to our work-from-home desk and it falls just below that, height wise. The cats can now relax and distract me from working at the same time! It's a win/win. The interior is surprisingly large enough to fit two cats in one space, as seen in one of the attached photos. **Please note that only one cat is allowed to be chunky in order for the two-in-one ratio to apply. I imagine if you have kittens, at least four can snuggle comfortably in one cubby. Cats or kittens alike can run and do back flips off this baby at 3am without any issues.Finally, it's really cute. It's just f*cking adorable. The heart paw print? The sight of your furry little demons curled up together in their little townhome? The echoing sound of nails feverishly digging into the scratchers while you're trying to take a post-work nap? It's simply too precious to handle. Just add the scratcher to your cart. You won't regret it, and your cats will tolerate you a bit more than they did before.

This is a high quality product. Very sturdy. It was a lot to put together but the kittens love it, so it was worth it. I have a friend who bought 1 and I noticed hers lasted 2 yrs. Yes it got beat up but 2 yrs later it's still standing and strong,so I had to get one. Glad I did.

I make a lot of cardboard apartments for my 9lb cat, Squeaker, by cutting up boxes that deliveries come in, but this kind of thing is next level.He LOVES the scratcher boards and I love that they're accessible on all sides, inside and out, floor and 'ceilings.' The cardboard is extra sturdy and was fine when he jumped on it while it was free stranding (it's against my desk now).I love the ease of putting it together--no adhesives required! **The only tricky bit is getting the two middle supports in. I needed a partner to push on the far wall so I could get it through all the way.**But I think that's a good thing because it's keeping the walls firmly in place.The only thing I changed was taking out one of the middle floor scratcher pieces and putting it down as a 'doormat' instead. Otherwise he has can only change levels by going outside. This way he can step up from the inside too.All around I think this thing is brilliant and Squeaker clearly does too because explored every level, lounged on the top, and tested out scratching every possible surface--and it's only been here an hour!

We have 2 cats over the age of 10 and they are newly introduced to one another, so they don’t play well together yet. The most timid one loves this cat house so much that he braves the living room and the other cat just to be near it. It’s brought both of these anti social kitties to a level of fun and calm together that hadn’t been achieved in the previous 6 months of them living together. Now, if only either of them could figure out how to get inside of it! Haha!Assembly was very fast, both of these cats are on the larger side (height, length, and weight) and it’s sturdy enough to keep them safe, and it’s actually quite cute.

The media could not be loaded.  Very cute play house for multi cat households and good for large or small cats. I purchased the Chateau model and it took about 30 minutes to put it together. The entire structure is made of thick cardboard. I added a video for reference. There are 5 levels counting the base. The very top level is kinda small and just fits my 6lb kitty but the other 4 levels are ok for big cats too. The only issue I had was trying to bend the cardboard on the sides of the base to get it snapped in place. I will most likely reinforce the base to keep it in place. Otherwise a very nice kitty playhouse!It does look bigger in pictures than it actually is but it’s still a decent size play house/scratcher. It measures 33” inches high from base to the top where the roof begins. If including the roof it’s 39”inches high. Its 23” inches wide. I will post an update in the next week on how it’s holding up.Update: 9-15-2021. It’s been a year since I purchased this kitty house and it still looks great! There has been very little shedding of the cardboard and my 3 cats use it daily. My cats do use it more as a lounger than a scratcher so that does help but overall it’s held up very well with them jumping all over it. They even climb on the roof and it stays put. Great purchase for my cats:-)

My cat absolutely loves this! She sleeps on the top shelf all the time! Even though it's made from cardboard, it's amazingly sturdy and easy to assemble. I also like that it is sustainable. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the company doesn't sell replacement scratching boards. The top shelf where my cat likes to hang out and sleep is curvy, and I have not been able to find a replacement for it anywhere. It's so wasteful to throw out the entire thing and order a whole new one when all I need is to replace one board.

We have 3 active cats weighing in at 17, 11and 10 pounds. The smaller cats are youngsters who have energized the old geezer into robust play. He’s a long cat so can only fit inside the two connected bottom rooms but that doesn’t deter him from playing in and on the Fort with the two girls. We throw toys, stuff bird wands into tall pillars and hide springs inside to enthusiasm from the four legged. The corrugated cat scratch roofs holding up well and one or more cats will sunbathe there from time to time. Takes a bit of time to assemble but easily done. Double sided walls and sturdy corner pillars add to its strength. A great hit with our furry friends. Wish it cost about 20% less but if it holds up to their play it will be a worthwhile purchase.

Bought it for my bunny and it’s a giant hit !!! Took me 10 minutes to assemble and it’s sturdy as heck!! My 2 year old loves to sit on the top and everything. No worries about it falling apart! 10000% recommend. Good for cats and bunnies :)

I bought this for my cat who is medium sized (6kg) and pretty long and it fits him great. He actually uses every level of it and it's great because we can bring it from room to room for him (he likes to be near us). He really loves the corrugated cardboard and goes at it on every level. He especially loves the sides which is great because he's never been interested in a proper scratcher. The cardboard is super sturdy and can handle him jumping onto the top from dressers or his cat tree which I was originally worried before getting the house. I will be repurchasing this whenever he has destroyed his current house (it'll definitely be awhile!). The assembly can be a little tricky but if you have someone there to hold pieces still for you then it'll be easy. Awesome product.

As soon as I took this out of the box to assemble, my bunnies were all over it! A bit expensive for cardboard, but im sure my bunnies will enjoy until they've completed their "bunstruction" and destroyed it. Would purchase again.

It was fairly easy to assemble very sturdy good for large cats and small with seven scratching pads my cats are crazy about it!
