A real mechanical dive watch, great finishing, lume, hacks, winds, great to own and wear -a real watch with presence
Brilliant watch - and at this price I wouldn't consider any other watch anywhere - to cut a long story short - if you have a budget of £400 and are looking for a dive watch - forget anything else - get this - sure the Seiko SKX is more iconic, along with the Turtle - but they aren't versatile - too toolish and would look odd with a suit. This on a bracelet is versatile -And forget any Quartz diver by any other brand - this is a great watch - spend the money, enjoy it and wear it as it'll last a lifetime too. This is a high quality piece, nice finishing throughout - under a loupe (8x) reveals good finishing on the dial, hands and indicesAll in-house - forget boutique trash - this watch is made in Japan along with every component (made by Seiko Epson)Strong lume - a high quality bezel with 120 clicksSigned crownengraved caseback -hacking handwinding and excellent time keeping with a very durable movementwater resistant to 200m and ISO certified - enough for any sort of scuba diving (not saturation diving)Very well made and finished case with polished and brushed elementsBeautiful sunbust blue which catches light and looks different under different light - very interesting and a pleasure to look at - coupled with the red marker on the second hand and the nicely shaped hands - makes for a gorgeous watch.Only downside is the bracelet features no screw in links, no solid end links, a pressed clasp and doesn't taper - replace with a Bonetto Cinturini italian rubber dive strap (22mm) in navy - suits this watch perfectly.Bracelet options - available but pricey - (forget the Oyster style one and go for the Endmill) - on a quality bracelet this will match a far pricier watch. This is a proper watch, a proper dive watch and looks and feels fantasticBuy it

Gorgeous automatic diver style watch and fantastic value
Upfront: this is an incredibly gorgeous watch. There's no two ways about it. I find myself constantly looking at it when I wear it, admiring the gorgeous blue sunburst dial and the pepsi bezel. The brushed finish on the stainless steel case is great and done to a high standard, and the bracelet's endlinks have been well matched with the case finish, even if they are hollow endlinks. At this price point, hollow endlinks are a fair tradeoff, and one that I think most consumers are happy to accept. The rest of the bracelet are solid links, which is another plus in my books. It wears surprisingly small too despite a 42mm case diameter, it still sits reasonably on my 5.9 inch wrist. With dive style watches I find it fitting that they are slightly chunky on the wrist and yet this one does not feel excessive even on my female wrist.Whats more, it is also incredibly good value for money too. To find an automatic, mechanical watch for £120 is simply fantastic value for money, especially when in return you get a reputable brand like Orient, which is a Seiko sub-brand, and an Orient in-house movement. To that end, I am very happy with this purchase, and I suspect my next automatic watch will be another Orient.

Best value automatic diver on the market
The good:The style - taking design cues from the Seiko SKX with its large indices and the Rolex Submariner, this is a very nice looking watch with its own identity and personality, not a mere homage. The dial - the sunburst blue dial looks stunning in the light. Lovely applied indices and logo. The bezel - although not a ceramic insert, the bezel looks good and the 120 click action is stiff, possibly a little too stiff, out of the box.The lume - after only half a day's power under normal lighting conditions, the lume was bright and lasted well over 5 hours. Extremely impressive given the price point. The movement - hand-winding and hacking automatic movement at this price point is very good. The finishing - this watch looks and feels like one 5x it's price. The bad:The bracelet - while it has solid links and the finishing is good, it doesn't have solid end links, has push pins and only a pressed clasp. The clasp isn't too bad however, and is to be expected at this price point. The polished edges on the midlinks looks a bit odd, I would have preferred a fully brushed bracket or fully polished midlinks. Overall though the bracelet isn't too bad.The ugly:The crown is way too stiff. I found it impossible to undo while wearing the watch, and I wasn't overly confident I had fully tightened it after setting the time and date. I would be very wary about submersing in water unless I was 100% sure the crown was fully screwed in.All in all, a terrific watch at this price.

What a Ray of sunshine (sorry)
Well I'm no stranger to an auto and this is definitely a premium feeling mechanical watch. I was torn between the Kamasu and this but I'm happy with my choice. Pros are the accuracy (+6 sec a day average), size is perfect for my slightly under 7" wrist, lume is up there with the best, the blue dial is stunning in the light and the movement is hackable and can hand wound. Only cons for me are the bezel is one of the stiffest I've owned and the crown is also quite stiff and not very grippy. Both are almost impossible to operate with wet hands. The bracelet seems fine to me. The links are solid, not folded, however the end links are hollow as expected. All in all a perfect low profile dressy or casual diver. Its lower profile size makes it perfect for wearing under a shirt cuff without it catching. For £129 its an absolute bargain.
