Works well and a great value.
Held the camshafts on my 5.4 solid while I changed the timing set out. Easy to use, looks virtually identical to the high dollar ones.NOTE: Make sure which version of the 4.6/5.4 you have before ordering these. These are for "Windsor" built engines. If you have a "Romeo" engine you need different tools (These will not fit due to the cam caps). Easiest way to tell from outside is to count the bolts that hold the cam covers onto the head. If it's more than 11, you have a Windsor.

Worked great on a 2004 Town Car 4.6L 2V
I had a failing timing chain tensioner on my 04 Town Car, so I was gonna replace all the hardware behind the timing cover. These tools did the trick to hold the camshafts in place so I could replace components without worrying about the timing being screwed up.Easy to use and good value.

Works great
Camshaft never moved. I just wish they were little cheaper, but with the money I saved doing it myself over a mechanic I could buy another 20 of these

did not fit my 04 Town Car correctly
Needed about 7mm worth of spacers between the bar and the upper block to reach the cam on my 04 Town Car.No idea why, worked after that.

Exellent tool!
This camshaft holding tool did the job exactly as described. I used them to secure the cams in a 2004 2 valve 5.4 triton engine to replace the timing set. Definitely worth the money.

Great value.
Worked perfect on a 98 F150 5.4 2 Valve engine for a timing chain and head gasket job. Seem to be good quality and would hold up for years of use.
