Happy rabbit, happy home
Holly (that is, the rabbit) loves her two-story mansion. She goes up and down and lounges on both floors. We use a litter box inside, so it is pretty easy to keep clean. It is too small (in my opinion) for two rabbits, but one is perfect. We use the top for storage so we get her in and out through the front. The door clasps are a little flismey but have held up ok.

Cute hutch, not the best quality.
Very easy to install, not so sturdy. Drawers do not slide out easily and are not deep enough to have bedding and slide out. It is very attractive, and nice size for my guinea pigs.

Perfect size
We ordered this for some bunnies super easy to put together and perfect fit for what we needed it for. True to size and good value for your money. The quality is good. Have struggled with some leaking underneath from the bunnies going to the bathroom but we have it outside so not a huge deal.

Love the hutch but….
There are a few downfalls to this or maybe I’m doing something wrong. I live in Michigan so I have to keep my rabbits inside unless it’s warmer outside. So I set the hutch up indoors for that reason. So here goes nothing …Assembly….Pretty easy and self explanatory. I think I did it myself In 30-45 mins with a toddler crawling in and out of it. I suggest having another person help though because you will need someone to help hold up the sides until you get them all screwed together. After that it’s easy peasy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.Cleaning- the top and bottom tray both slide out. To dump the debris or to wipe off. Nothing really sticks to it. The aluminum used to line the trays though seems a little flimsy. But that is my own opinion.Design(cons)(this is going to be long )- the top of the hutch opens like a lid But, it’s super heavy and kind of makes the hutch unsteady. Almost top heavy if you will. It does wobble a bit if you’re moving it so try to avoid that. The main issue I have is, I use the pine pellets for the bedding which get trapped in between the slide out trays and the walls of the hutch making it difficult to pull the trays out to clean. I have to vacuum up the pellets that get stuck just to pull the trays out because it prevents me from sliding the trays out. Their poo also gets stuck between these little gaps as well which in turn ends up all falling into the bottom or under the hutch. I would suggest making the trays a little deeper to hold bedding in better. Another downfall , the hutch has wire sides on the lower level of the hutch. So anytime the rabbits start going crazy and running around inside there, they fling the poo and pellets through that onto my floors. I tried hay at first but that made even more of a mess. Not a huge deal if you keep your rabbits outdoors though. And lastly the latch to shut the doors are a little cheap. They bent right away not to the point of not being able to use them though but you could always get your own different latches if you wanted and put them on .Design pros- my rabbits love it !! It has a lot of space inside. There’s a lot of privacy for them if they need it . I love all the doors is has (4). I like how there is a built in little nesting spot for them also. I love that this doesn’t have a wire floor!!!! That is uncomfortable for rabbits in general so that is one reason I got this particular hutch. I do like that there is some wire to attach water bottles and feeders etc. The wood for the hutch smells amazing! It’s got this pine scent to it that filled my whole house at first. It seems to be holding up well to the urine that gets on the wood. I assumed it could have rotted out by now but it hasn’t, which is awesome! The top part of the hutch has all wood sides and walls except the one door do that is a nice feature if the rabbits want to hide from me. You can also block the ramp with a piece of wood that rests inside by a turn style locking piece of wood. So if you didn’t want your rabbits going up stairs or down you could close off that level.Overall I do love this hutch but it does tend to get messy if used indoors. I’ll have to figure that one out of my own and post an update if I can find some less messy bedding .

Wobbly, beautiful and compact
17 year old put it together by himself. Assembly was okay. directions could have been clearer. Unit is fairly wobbly and we are working on putting some supports on the bottom and in the middle to assist with strengthening structure. back is very thin. Sliding trays are neat. Nice to be able to get to bunnies in all areas ,& separate if necessary. Haven't tried it with the bunnies yet. Waiting until we make it more solid & less wobbly.**Update: used for less than a week. 12 week old rotten rabbits are already chewing down the thin wood of the cage especially around the doors. Not sure how long it will last. At night there is lots of time to chew it.

I love it!
The hutch is awesome! We have 2. I love the slide out pans. It's built sturdy then the former addition. And I like the options to retrieve or clean the cage through the 4 different doors.

Poor Quality
I purchased this to replace another hutch (a different brand) that I also got from Amazon which was poor quality. This hutch is an utter disappointment. I have not even had my guinea pigs in this for four weeks and it already has damage everywhere. The wood used is poor quality and too thin to provide a practical enclosure for domestic rodentia. It feels almost like a balsa wood and the animals tear through it like tissue paper. I am incredibly disappointed with this product. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has an animal in the rodent family because it will chew a hole the in enclosure before the month is out. It's unpleasant to feel ripped off, anyone considering this product should take note of this and judge their needs based off of the many reviews listed.I really don't understand what type of animal could be housed in this realistically when you consider the poor craftsmanship and the poor quality wood. It just doesn't make any sense. I regret wasting my money on this and will not buy one off Amazon again.
