Union Locks 2234E 5 Lever BS Mortice Sash Lock 67mm - Satin Chrome Finish (Visi Pack)

My existing Chubb sash lock was well over 25 years old and was starting to become a bit temperamental. I decided the easiest thing was to replace it with a new chubb lock, given the excellent durability of the previous one, but soon discovered this was not possible. A bit of research allowed me to discover that the lock part of the Chubb business was taken over by Union/Yale company and that the Union products were identical to the Chubb.I ordered this lock on Friday afternoon and I fitted it on Saturday morning, and the whole job barely took 15 minutes (as the new lock had identical dimensions to the old one). The quality of the new lock looks to be of a similar standard to the previous one and given it complies to the appropriate British Standard and has a 15 year guarantee I hope I will get similar reliability and durability from it.

Substantial sash lock that's easy to fit.. Strike plate is a beast so make sure your chisels are sharp! Comes with 3 keys as an added bonus, would deffo recommend.
