Build and packaging is great but magnets are very weak. I bought it for my 9in tablet to mount it to my car and it keeps slipping. Wish they used a much more stronger magnets. Loved the build quality.

I don't use mine in car so adhesive is fine for me and I've not seen problems others mention. I use it with Function 101 Cable Blocks or nothing works great too. Magnets are strong and hold most anything metal well at the edge of my desk. I like them better than the Wizgear ones I also use. Wizgear fit smaller places with weaker magnets. Scosche is larger in all directions and most importantly much wider. You might like this, you might not. I had to adjust other items attached to edge of desk to make room for the size of this monster. And last, I have to mention the packaging which even puts Apple over packaging to shame. 3/4 of the price of this product is in the packaging. It is a stick with magnets in it packaged like it is fine crystal in a box which is easily 10x the size of the bar. Wait for an amazon warehouse return and hope they junked the packaging. All that said. magnets strong and it does what I wanted it to do very well. Super overpriced but works well. YMMV.

When I first got this item, I was ecstatic. This is exactly what I needed to mount my IPad to the fridge. However, the flaw is that they send the unit with adhesive pre installed…. Which doesn’t make sense, considering some may want to install it as a magnet only, without adhesion. I also acquired a bubble in my unit by removing the adhesive.To be honest, if I wanted to stick it somewhere with adhesion, I’d use command strips as opposed to the foam nightmare I had to peel through to get it off. Took about an hour, but the job is done. The reason to remove to adhesive, my iPad was gliding down the fridge with it on. It would not hold its weight since the adhesive BLOCKS THE MAGNET! Hence why I had to go through the painful process of removing it. Bad experience initially for something I was excited for. Take this into consideration before buying, however, it would be wise for the seller to address this issue with the manufacturer.

The media could not be loaded.  As you see form the video I needed this to manufacturer a quick release for my head unit which has been replaced due to theft. It's great for people like me who have vehicles that can't really be locked like my 92 jeep YJ. Added a smaller one on the bottom for extra security because jeep lol but this one held the screen perfectly fine by itself.

Good item, just not for my Samsung Note 10 Plus.The Magnetism cause disruption to the sound of my cellphone.I used for my machine tools instead.

I paid about 2 dollars more than the other brand i have and it's way better. It's even part an extra 10 for it. ... plus it's Scoshe so you know it's too quality!
