Most Comfortable IWB Holster I've Tried
I'm a pretty tall and thin guy. I've had a hard time finding an IWB holster that was actually comfortable to wear. They usually dig into my back or rear end, especially when sitting. I resorted to an ankle holster because nothing I tried was even remotely comfortable, despite all the product claims. I decided to give it one more shot, and give this one a try. I wore this all day last Saturday. I'm talking from first thing in the morning throughout an active day of travel, walking, standing and sitting. My gun didn't leave the holster all day until I went to bed. When I stood up from watching a little TV in the family room before heading to bed, I realized I still had it on. My one complaint, if you can call it that, is that the clips are very hard to pry open far enough to get over your belt, especially if you're trying to put the holster on per the provided instructions. But they are SECURE once they are on. I found it a little easier to put the holster on your pants and belt prior to putting your pants on. That way you're not twisting around trying to maneuver the clips over your belt in a very awkward position. Great job Alien Gear. I'll be looking at more of your products.

Nice materials and construction for a very fair price
Nice materials and construction for a very fair price... Thin and comfortable for long-time wear in the 4 o'clock position. A bit wide for 3 o'clock wear if you are not an XXL sized dude... (I wear a 34" waist and the wings end up protruding a bit in 3 0'clock position on me. Adjustability and simplicity receive pretty high marks from me. You can control cant and depth with a simple, tool-less adjustment which is very welcomed!Retention and speed of draw were excellent. I even ran this in 12 - 2 o'clock carry with solid results. Draw was a cinch and concealability was as good as can be expected. The system has a bit too much of a footprint to move very well with you for appendix carry... It conforms to you and hugs so well that when you crouch it tends to stay put and dig in. Depending on the cant you are running this can be downright painful, if not at least uncomfortable. You can decrease your carry depth to relieve this issue, but then you give up concealability.I'd recommend this for anyone looking for high-quality, lightweight, all-day comfort for the 4-5 o'clock position, which is what it was designed for... It can be used effectively in the 12-3 o'clock zones but with some compromises compared to other offerings.

Surprising fits well and super comfortable
So I originally was not happy when I first received the holster. It was large and looked clunky. I even started the return process before I even tried it. The next day i decided to try it before I returned it. I am so glad I did. This is one of the most comfortable holsters i ever wore. I am a heavy guy and it fits me very well. I would not trade this holster for anything. Super happy.

Can't replace the plastic clips with leather loops
The gun fits, but the holster doesn't hold the gun firmly enough. I have it so tight that I can hardly put the gun in and it's marring the guns finish from the friction of sliding on hard plastic when holstering or unholstering. Yet even like that I can still hold it upside down and a few shakes is enough to make the gun fall out. It needs some other sort of retention mechanism than just friction. But the worst part are the plastic belt clips. These plastic clips are too stiff and too small for a decent gun belt that is 1/4" thick. You have to fight and fight to get them on over the belt and then trying to get them off is even harder. I ordered leather belt loops from Alien Gear that they say fit their iwb holsters. Apparently they changed the design, the leather loops cannot be used on this holster. The leather loops require chicago screw connections. The plastic clips and holster don't use chicago screw. This holster has shaped holes in them and the clips have a shaped shaft to fit in that hole, line it up and push the shaft into the hole and then rotate to lock in place.

Fantastic purchase. Good quality and comfort.
Wore this all day last Saturday. This is my first holster. I'm pretty good at guessing what's good.I wore this at the 4 o'clock position. I was able to sit without any discomfort, which was my big fear. Occasionally while driving over 2hrs , I fidgeted, but anything pressed up against you would cause that. I forgot it was there, most of the day, which is also what I was looking for.*People who gave this a bad review because the screws came out must've missed the manufacturer suggestion on the instruction card they sent.On arrival, apply nail polish to the screws threads to give them a snug fit.No nut screws will loosen over time if subjected to constant movement.

This holster is great because you can adjust the ride and cant for ...
I am really digging the comfort and feel of this holster. I originally went with the idea that a more versatile, belly band style of CC holster would serve me well. However, a major problem was that you get what you get with a belly band configuration, which led to massive printing problems for me. This holster is great because you can adjust the ride and cant for your firearm, leading to an easily customizable way to ensure you are truly carrying concealed. The other issue I had with the belly band I bought was that my gun never felt comfortable, even after trying several different ways of carrying. The comfort on the Alien Gear holster is really awesome and the break-in time I feel like must be coming up soon. I've only worn it out and about a few times and it's already quite broken in for where I carry it. Overall, if you need a tuckable holster, I wouldn't necessarily recommend any other brand. I think CrossBreed sells a similar holster, but the belt loops are really gaudy. Why would I want to draw attention to my CCW location when I could have something that resembles my cell phone holster instead?
