I’ve seen most, if not all the torchlighter movies. This is one of my favorites. I showed it to the youth group in my church and they really like the story as well. It really made an impact on them. I strongly recommend this DVD.

Review of the Jim Elliot Story
Good, but not quite on par (as a children's show) with Beyond the Gates of Splendor. Also, I'm disappointed that no reference was made to the singing (as if by angels) that the natives heard during the massacre. Still worth having in your collection.

More than I expected!
I watched Jim Elliot wrestle at Wheaton College when I was in High School. Then I actually spent 25 minutes or so talking with Nate Saint when I was a Freshman at Wheaton in 1952. This disk contained not only Jim's story, but an interview with Steve Saint, Nate's son who lived with the natives who killed his father. Fascinating.
