Does its job nicely.
I really loved these overall. As a book addict I struggle to find space on my bookshelves. They hold the books in line and don't damage the books like I've found with others. A great price for how many you get. I did find though that a slight breeze would make them move, I don't know if it's just mine or what but I find myself constantly adjusting them back to their original position. If you want to hold only a few books I found that the bottom part sticks put and interferes with either the wall or another book end. Overall go with it, it has its faults like all things but personally I have found that the benefits outweigh the cons.

Not too flashy just how i wanted it
These book ends were exactly what i was looking for nothing too flashy just functional. The build is very strong since they're metal and the rubber ends are strong so they do slide off the shelf or desk. They are also quite tall so they can handle some of my larger books without them falling out from the top. For price you get 6 pairs and that's brilliant value for money. Worth the investment.

cheap and cheerful and very good value
I have used these book ends very much for separating or making a short tranche of books. They do need something heavy on their horizontal surface to keep the books in order. They are most useful in a tidying capacity in a bookcase where several books have been taken out leaving a floppy gap. The metal is lightweight but not bendable.
