DEMOTOR PERFORMANCE Universal Steering U Joint 3/4"-36 Spline To 3/4" DD Stainless Steel

This ujoint is built strong. I looked at it closely and it appears to be rebuildable. I couldn't use it for my needs due to a factory design issue with the shaft I was using. Chevy GMT400 owners, this will NOT fit the rag end of your steering shaft. Chevy necked it up under the cover and then shrunk it down to press fit the rag mount. There's no room to cut off the mount and slide this on. A full shaft replacement is your only option.

Works great on my 39 ford steering rack, and much better pricing than Borgeson and others. Looks great in stainless.

Seems well constructed, has needle bearings, and it's a fraction of the cost of a Flaming River U-joint. Would definitely buy again for other projects.

Fit my after market column very nice

I used this on a steering columne to steering box. It worked for what i needed it to do because i made it work. Let me explain: Its annoying that you do not offer the size i needed. I had to machine the 3/4-36 spine intermediate shaft of my existing steering columne coupler into a Doulbe D shape on a mill so the joint fit because you do not offer this black powder coated joint in 13/16"-36 spline to 3/4"-36 spline. I really hope you offer the more polular sizes in the future. Speaking of that if i could have found the top joint 1"-48 spline to 3/4"Doulble D then i could have just connected these two joints together with a piece of Doulble D shaft and been super happy. 1"-48 spline is the GM steering columne of the 1970s. Virtually all the Chevy cars and trucks had this size. Thats why its so common. So that is why i had to take 45 min. of my time to machine my part to fit this one joint.*** In the future if you come out with that joint (the 1"-48 spline to 3/4" doulble D) let me know as i will gladley pay you the $29

Good fitment

The shaft that sets the four-way valve for adjusting the flow to the outlet jets of my hot tub broke. Because the control panel on top and the valve inside the cabinet are offset, the shaft has universal joint. The original part is plastic, assembled and installed in 1994, and is the part that broke. I chose to replace it with a 3/4" x 3/4" stainless steel universal joint that won't break. I did have to drill a hole through each receptacle to pin the shafts in place. The new u-joint works easily as I enjoy soaking in my rejuvenated hot tub, adjusting the jets to shoot from floor, sides, and rejuvenating seat.

Ordered this twice now, first one arrived and it had the wrong size UJ in the correct box. Ordered 5/8 spline x 3/4 smooth and received 5/8 spline x 9/16 smooth. Returned and ordered again thinking it would be just a one off but exactly the same issue again. Someone needs to look at what they're putting in the boxes. Quality is good enough and we are machining this one to fit as don't have time to order another one just to get the wrong size again.

I was expecting a far less superior part. This thing is very beafy. I am using it for a motorcycle trailer tow hitch. It fits great and will work awesome!!
