Great Product
I needed a way to secure and boost the Wi-Fi signal in our camper when we are hooked up to the campground Wi-Fi. This unit does that and does it well. It is a little difficult to set up, but once you do it a couple of times it becomes very simple. I set it up to use the same login information as my Wi-Fi at home. Then once it is set up at the campground our phones and tablets instantly connect because they think we are at home using the home network. Now I have a strong, secure network anywhere we go.

Works Great!
I got this for our RV travels. Our TT came with an omni-directional antenna mounted to roof and wired to inside. I did a system check on our home WiFi before mounting unit in TT and the unit passed through a full speed signal at home. We've had this unit on the road at two different campgrounds and it has worked at both. One of the bigger benefits of using this unit is our ability to connect any of our devices using the same username and password, because once you log into the campground internet signal the unit retransmits the signal with the username and password that you set. Based on past experience, this is a much better way to use campground internet, which is notoriously weak and slow. This system gives you the advantage of having an outside rooftop antenna and passes through a full speed signal. Also, many campgrounds have unsecured internet, so this system provides better security. Lastly, my smart TV won't even allow connection to an insecure WiFi signal, this system will connect to the insecure system and allow TV to connect. I would highly recommend this system for camping. NOTE: This unit can only repeat what signal is available, so if the existing signal is really bad or weak it can't make the end result way better. It just gives you a better chance to pickup signal with the advantage of an outdoor antenna.

Powerful WiFi signal booster, easy installation
I bought this combo (antenna and router) after trying, and returning, 3 other products that claimed to boost my WiFi signal but didn’t. I’m glad to report that the King Falcon does a super job! It picks up between 40 and 60 signals, though of course you can’t connect to them unless you have their code. My RV is parked near a house that has a good modem, but the OOKLA speedtest still shows a huge improvement in the signal: 20/6 Mbps (download/upload) with direct connection to the house modem vs. 74/6 with the King equipment. Results at various campsites were not as spectacular as this - they depended on the campsite signal strength, but I always got a significant improvement over connecting directly to the campsite. Only one campsite had zero WiFi signal, in spite of their claim that they did have WiFi, and then the King system did not work - how could it?Installation was easy, though I did test the system on my tabletop inside my RV before installing the antenna permanently on the roof. It passed!I would have give this system 5 stars but for the iphone/ipad interface, which looks like something designed in the 1990’s! It’s crude and sometimes hard to do the last step to connect to the antenna; this part of the system badly needs an upgrade! It’s OK once you get used to it. Another small criticism is that two 110V transformers are used to power the antenna and router, which is dumb when RVs generally have 12V or USB outlets, which would be easier to plug into. But overall, I’m very pleased with the equipment and recommend it.

Hard to find using the search feature!
I previously had the WiFi Camp Pro II. It worked for ~a week then wouldn't work even though it showed that all signals were great. So the seller replaced and the new unit worked for a couple of months and began doing the same thing. But when it worked, it was really good. The only other option that would come up on my search was the CCrane but its reviews were pretty much the same as the WiFi Camp Pro.So I drove on down to the local RV store and the unit they stocked was the King. So I searched for it on Amazon and it popped up when I used the name as the search term. Why wouldn't it pop up when I was searching for WiFi extender?Anyhow, I got the unit and it works. I find it strange that it actually seems to be slower than the WiFi Camp Pro (when the Camp Pro works!). But it works. And it continues to work. Oh, and the antenna comes with a couple of different mounting brackets so you have choices on how to mount it. The Camp Pro doesn't come with any sort of mount. So it works and I'm happy. For now.

Didn't work as advertised. Sent it back
Disappointing. This KING unit was purchased to replace an unstable WiFi Ranger Pro in an RV. When using this KING product in WiFi as WAN (RV park WiFi repeating) mode, the throughput speed was unbearably slow. If I connected the test devices (laptop, phone, computer) to the external WiFi source, the speed was great. If I connected those same devices to the KING WiFi, which was repeating the same external WiFi source, the speed was unbearable. The source was providing 10 Mbps "down" / 6 Mbps "up". The KING was repeating 0.66 Mbps "down" / 0.64 Mbps "up". I spent a lot of time trying to troubleshoot this. I powered down the KING, and powered up the old WiFi Ranger, ran the tests again, and its WiFi repeating worked great. I discovered the KING unit was on the same WiFi channel as the external source. There is a menu option in the KING control panel to change this, but it did not actually change the channel. It showed in the control panel that it changed, but a WiFi Analyzer running on my phone showed it did not. I hoped a firmware update could help. This was when I discovered that KING does not provide any firmware downloads on its website. Finally, I gathered up my test data and sent a detailed e-mail to KING support asking for their help. By the time they replied a week later, the order had hit the "return by" date at Amazon and the unit had been returned. Perhaps they would have been able to help.

Wire routing antenna side
Product works well, except for the wire to antenna inside hookup, you have to put a bend in wire that will prob. break it. I drilled a hole in case so wire goes straight in with no bend or tight loop. This will void warranty so caution on doing that.

DO Not BUY!! Serious Design Flaw!
This antenna works great sometimes, however there is a serious design flaw in the way the antenna cable is attached, this will always fail, I am on my 4th unit and again it failed. Customer support denies that there is anything wrong with the units and has no fix for the issue. Cost me over a grand reinstalling and trying to fix the issue.

Well designed Range Extender and Router.
We were heading to a campsite where I knew the wifi was marginal. Before we left, I mounted the external antenna on the roof and routed the included cable through the upper cabinets. I mounted the Router behind the window curtain - out of sight!Highly recommend this combination.
