Stella Artois chalice is a nice glass that can decorate your collection of beer glasses and can add up to your beer tasting experience.

The first time I drank from one of these glasses was in a bar downtown Chicago, and fell in love with it. I was so glad I could order a set from Amazon. It is perfect for one bottle or can of beer!

My wife is not a frequent beer drinker, but when we go out Stella Artois is her favorite brand as it is served in that fancy star chalice glass. When we were looking for some wine glasses on Amazon we stumbled upon the "Stella" glasses that are used in by the restaurants and seen on the Stella Artois TV ads and ordered a pair. The Glasses were shipped as part of a multiple order and were individually packed in heavy brown paper with a heavy layer of bubble wrap.I am a home brewer and know that proper presentation of the beer in a glass has a lot to do with it's enjoyment. To really enjoy good beer at home it is important to have a number of dedicated beer glasses that are only used for to serve beer. In this respect a frozen Stella Chalice really excels. I found that the design of glass with its heavy glass base tends to keep the beer cooler without causing any of the beer to freeze as happens with heavy glass tankard mugs. Here is a hint beer glass maintenance. I have found that if you get soap residue in you glass is hard to get a get a proper head on your beer. Therefore I never put my beer glasses in the dishwasher or use dish washing soap to clean them. Rather right after we finish a beer I rinse them well in hot water let the water drip out and pop them into the freezer. The freezing of the glass will both sanitize the glass but also help release the CO2 in the beer to form a perfect head. I found this to be true with the Stella glass the first time we used them the Stella Artois beer had a flat head. After following my procedure a few times the head comes out perfect just like you see it on TV. .

The Stella chalices do break easily which I believe is a design flaw.So far however, these have held up for quite a few months & are my boyfriend’s preferred beer glass.

Ordered these as a gift for my beau. He loves them. We keep them in the freezer , under the bar for when the mood strikes, or company would prefer a glass instead. They dont keep cold long : ( BUT they do fit an entire, standard, store bought sized bottle of Stella to the very rim. We did notice a slight difference in taste drinking from the chalice, but not so great that we drink from them all the time.

These are Henry VIII size (and regally beautiful). Fifty centiliter is roughly a pint. So think of a pint glass as stemware. Pretty impressive. You can pour in a couple of standard 6 pack bottles, if you want to cut down on the commute to the refrigerator. These are very well crafted - the starburst pattern on the stem and gold edging at the top are pretty elegant. As is the Stella Artois logo. The glasses fit the hand well and are hardy enough to have survived my using them for a few weeks. Likely made for standard bar use.Warning for beer purists: At this point cover your eyes:These are great for summer. I toss in most of a tray of ice and then dribble Stella (or iced tea or whatever) over that (Yeah, beer + ice, some of us are just savages) But you do end up with a really long-lasting, cool drink.

My girlfriend loves it. She drinks her Stella beer and water from it she loves it so much. 4 stars because nothing is perfect.
