Arrived quickly,all parts in box,The forks are comfortable with nice soft grip covering.The Elastic is not top notch,although it is quite good for the price and you could always upgrade Elastics.Two strengths and quite powerful,although one of the Elastics was not tied correctly and made the elastic sit twisted where it attaches the pouch,very small pouch of soft leather.I managed to twist it back slightly into correct position and and is now operational.The weight is fine i have not weighed it but it is not going to weigh down your pocket ect.The forks are well made with nothing to break really.The light that comes with it works if you tighten the battery housing,to me its a gimmick,i am an X pot poacher,and bought this for my gtf out of dodge if tshtf,my survival bag.I will go out mooching to test it out to make sure it is up to scratch hunting wise.The light in my opinion would be useless for stalking roosting Pheasants,it is hard enough to get close to one at night without lighting up your weapon and you.I think this is a really neat hunting weapon.Practice makes perfect.As for the sliding sight arrangement i have put one on the tool,and left the one with light fitting off.how good it is i have not yet tried,it may be useful,it may not.Fitting the elastic onto the forks is quite easy to do.Place the Catty on a flat surface,screw side down with the clamping screw in place,so that the gripping bars are upwards to you.Line up the elastic with one hand to the base line just above the screw hole.Make shore the elastic is level to the base line and central to the gripping bars,place the cover over the elastic with your free hand,press the cover down to grip and lift up off the flat surface keeping pressure on the cover and tighten the screw,check before tightening fully the placement of the bands to make sure they have not moved and are correctly positioned.It sounds allot more difficult than it is,simple really.I gave this item 4 stars because one set of bands were not correctly tied.Otherwise i would recommend this item for hunting and target,and at the price it is a well designed piece of kit.WARNING: Do not do what i did and rub your eyes whilst fitting the bands.There is a powder of some sort on the bands which made my eyes sore until i washed them with water...

In its original state its fine for fun. The handle is short 70mm or just under 3", my little finger is off the handle and I have quite small hands, I would imagine for more powerful bands you might need a longer handle. That's ok because the bands are not really powerful, but good enough for scaring off cats and birds. We got the clay pellets to practice with and its been real fun. The light literally does nothing other than illuminate the small pieces of plastic on the adjustable sight, so not a laser to pin point where your pellet might be going. The clamps are sprung. Just press the screw in to open the jaws which then hold the band sufficiently well to adjust and tighten, nice feature. The leather pouch is a bit small but workable. Overall ok for the price. I would imagine with stronger bands and a lot of practice you might be able to do some pest control or maybe even small game, rabbit, pheasant, fish.

Considering the reviews for catapults indicated either you have to pay a lot or you get something that breaks in short order. After much thought I decided the price and reviews made this a good fit for me. The size is small so if you have large hands it may not be for you. Seems durable enough and does the job. The sight seems a nice feature but not sure if it works for me. At the price, it is a reasonable compromise.

Fantastic little slingshot. The bands it comes with aren't the best, (the pouches are a little too small for my tastes) and it would benefit from a simple instruction sheet to help newcomers assemble the sights and learn how to grip the frame (it's a pinch grip), but otherwise it's amazing. Toparchery deliver a quality bit of kit, Allen keys are even included to help you with assembly. The frame is light, strong and small enough to fit in a jacket pocket but is still comfortable to grip.I love the fibre optic sights and the light up feature, which at first I thought was just a gimmick, is actually really useful when you're deep in the woods.If you're thinking about getting a slingshot, you cant do better for the price.

the body of the slingshot is creditably comfortable in hand for a short handle slingshot,would be nicer to have a longer handle but it's workablethe sights are useful but cheaply made andthe pad is a bit small, ideal for upto a 1 centimes in diameter stonesgreat for a first time user but still powerful

This is a really well made and thought out piece of kit, I put it together easily , took a few shots to figure out the band power/sight settings and then kept hitting a coke can at 17meters shot after shot. Using 9.5mm bb and the bands handled them easily.the ergonomics of the handle are great and the texture provides a non sweaty sure grip. A great piece of kit😁 the round thing circled is a twist light that illuminate the aiming points on the sights, I have not tried it yet but it’s very clever👍

This was brought for someone else, not me. They seem happy with the slingshot. Not sure if they have used it yet. Arrived earlier than expected.

This is a good piece of kit that works well and straightforward to put together.The bands in particular are easy to attatch and of good quality
