I have never written a review for a product before but this thing is so awesome that I felt compelled to write one! As an adult who suffers from trichotillomania, I have probably tried over 30 different kinds of fidgets to keep my hands busy and away from my hair. Usually they work for a few minutes and then I just go back to pulling. But not this one! I don’t know what it is but this thing is just so satisfying I just don’t want to put it down once I take it out. It’s somehow comforting in a way I can’t describe and it’s just fun to play with. It’s pretty big for a “fidget”, like the size of my whole female adult hand, so if you are looking for a discreet fidget toy, this is not it. But if you are looking for something satisfying, calming, and preoccupying, buy this!!!

I've struggled with trichotillomania (eyebrows) for 30+ years. I've tried all sorts of fidget tools, but none have been helpful. Surprisingly, this brush so far is great! I've been so pleasantly surprised that I needed to review it. I don't pull at the bristles (as some reviewers seem to) - instead, I rub my fingertips through the bristles, brush my face and eyebrows with it. As others have mentioned, I can't explain why it is satisfying and soothing, but to me it is. Also as others have mentioned, it's about the size of my palm, so it wouldn't be great to use in a work meeting or something, but that's not when I have the urge to pull anyway, so it works for me. So happy to find something that helps even a bit!

I should have made this review much sooner. I have extreme medical anxiety, depression, severe sensory processing disorder, and severe auditory processing disorder that further triggers more anxiety and depression. The list goes on. I have adhd, and I'm on the spectrum. This amazing brush is a magical TOOL. It calms my nerves when my anxiety sky rockets due to my auditory and sensory processing disorders. Nothing else works. Fidgety are great for a short amount of time, but this is something you won't want to put down. I brush my arms, neck, face, hands, and play with the bristles with my fingers. I've had a couple of very scary anxiety break downs and my husband pulled this brush out and brushed my arms/hands, and it helped me calm down and feel safe almost immediately. It has been working for me for the past 2 years and I had to buy myself another one because my infant baby boy claimed my brush. He loves it too! It calms him down when he's really stressed out. I want a full bucket of these brushes. I'm not joking. I will be back to buy many more. Please never stop making these! If you have any of these issues like I do, this brush will do wonders for you. If you feel defeated and overwhelmed with your disorders and disabilities, try this right away.

I have this and the green one and the purple doesn’t hold up as well as the green. Still a great product for body focused repetitive behaviors. These are by far the best I’ve tried for stimulation.

This is helping to distract me from my body focused repetitive behaviors. I have bought several things, but I like this one the best. It’s quiet, and you can pet it all day without it escaping or biting you, unlike a cat or dog. The sensation is kind of like a Koosh ball from the late 1980’s, but I like this better. It gives that sensation while laying flat. It doesn’t stink. Nothing worse than smelling that rubber or chemical odor, then discovering that the scent transferred to your hands. Just a word of caution, if you buy this for someone who throws stuff, it’s likely to hurt if they clock you upside the head or in the face with it. I don’t throw stuff, so rest assured my family is safe.

Didn’t seem to work for my son but good quality.

Purchased for my teen daughter who has sensory issues/anxiety and started hair pulling around 6 months ago. She immediately took to it and is using it daily. This item has been very effective for her and we have seen a big reduction in pulling.

Item is not at all as described, it is a joke really and a big waste of money, do not buy!
