Supersized 'Best of British' Retro Sweets Gift Hamper: 100% Made in Britain, Perfect to Share

This product was supposed to be for a Christmas present however when I received it, me and my husband got so reminiscent we pretty much ate all the retro sweets ourselves! There were wham and refresher bars, blackjack sweets and fruit salads alongside sherbet dib dabs and peanut brittle. I would definitely order again as it was nice to see all the sweets that were around when I was younger. The sweets came in a sturdy box and arrived really quickly. Would definitely recommend if you're in need of some retro sweets.

I purchased a box for myself and my sidekick. Lots of lovely and delicious sweets in a nicely illustrated box with art by Colin Whittock that looks like it came straight out of old comics like The Beano or Whizzer and Chips. The sweets themselves are a nice selection; no gob stoppers which is ok by me, a few chocolatey things, tasty retro chews and boiled sweets and some things I wasn't aware of such as the Love Hearts Lipstick. Not sure what the round lemony boiled sweets in wrappers are but they taste amazing. I think they might be 'Acid Drops'. The Liquorice Toffees are scrumpdiddlyumptious as are the Sweet Peanuts, and the Black Jack's and Fruit Salads OMG it's heaven in a box!These should last me a while and I'll definitely be back for more.

It arrived on time in perfect condition, box filled to the brim with a good variety of retro sweets - great value for money as I've heard that some other sellers only fill the box to half full, so I've very glad I chose this seller!! Definitely recommend :)

The Hamper was bought as a Christmas gift. X The recipient, was very Happy with it. She said it brought back many childhood memories. It's a great gift to cheer someone up,who's from the generation,who grew up with these sweets. I bought something similar last year,and she enjoyed sharing them with her grandchildren,and talking about her childhood.

I purchased this product as a Christmas present for my adult son, who loves retro sweets and I was with him when he opened it. He was so excited when he found the box was full to the brim with his favourite sweets. He spent the next five minutes delving down into the packets to see what he could find. He loved it. This was an excellent buy and very good value for money. I would recommend it.

From what I can see when opening the box there is quite a good selection of sweets in there. I’m sure my wife will love this little stocking filler on Christmas Day. It’s a pity that someone has ruined the lid of the box with a packing label that won’t come off.
