I was looking for an alternative to DermaMag spray. I loved and hated it. It worked nicely, but wasn't great to use, sticky and stingy at times. I counted the minutes after an application so I could run and jump in the shower to get it off.So, I bought a pop up tub for in my shower and tried these flakes. I have been using these flakes for a few months now. I am on my 3rd bag now. I was never a "bath" kind of person until these flakes. I use them to help with my "stuck in the mud" feelings and my lack of artistic motivation. I have food allergies/histamine intolerance issues that just sucks the life out of me and I am unable to create anything. :(The magnesium will kick in after a few hours and I'll start to feel like myself.. and better. My work has been more intuitive and I have made many new creations that I am excited about...this hasn't happen for a long, long timeDo work up your dose.. I did 2 cups first time and it put me on the sofa for the day with low heart rate and dizziness. I found 1 1/2 cups to be about perfect for my bath size. Too much magnesium in your blood will cause your body to drop other electrolytes and mess with your heart rate. I get a slight "pit" in my stomach when I start to over do it, but that could just be me.also, I tweaked my back lifting something.. I was concerned it could lead to an ongoing back issue. I tried the bath and it relieved all the pain. I could tell the injury was still there with certain movements, but I wasn't hurting. It took one more bath a few days later when it started to stiffen up again. My back no longer hurts at all. I was impressed!Another positive side effect is taking away cravings. When I go to the store, those dang BIG KAT bars called to me like a siren. I almost always caved and got the king size. Now after using the salts, I noticed I didn't WANT them?! I found Magnesium also helps regulate insulin.. I'd give magnesium flakes a shot and see if you just feel better overall. Heck, a bath is good for some peace and quiet, too!I think it's time for a bath now!

These were a great addition to my bath at night you help me sleep. I just can’t believe I bought these for $15 a year ago and the price is doubled now!! I will have to look for another supplier.

I use it as oil, all the time

The flakes can be used either in a bath or as a soak for your feet in a basin.I like the feet soak in the basin for 30 minutes. It's absorbed through your feet and really makes a difference for pain or if your heart is out of rhythm. They also sell Magnesium in an oil spray.

I’ve been using Epsom salts in my bath for years, but decided to give these Oraganix flakes a try to see if they work differently. In my experience, they did beat the Epsom salts for bath soaking. They dissolve quickly and thoroughly, and I was seriously relaxed after my bath. Almost problematically relaxed — I could barely move! — but it was pleasant. Hard to say whether I’ll keep using these or go back to Epsom salts given the big price difference, but these are unquestionably better where price is no object. (For what it’s worth, I did try making magnesium oil in the provided spray bottle, and I didn’t notice any benefits from that form of delivery. I assume it’s just a matter of quantity — a teaspoon or so in a spray of the oil, vs a cup or two in the bathtub.)

I bought this to make magnesium oil spray and have been using it with really good success. I only gave it a four for pain relief but my pain is very great with both RA and OA types of arthritis. However, this really did help a great deal as apparently I needed the magnesium. It is totally easy and it is one less pill I have to take by spraying it on the areas and also on my forearm as a supplement. I have not tried soaking but this would be wonderful for that too. I recommended it to friends and family. Good value for the money too. Large quantity and comes with a spray bottle!

After trying 6 other formulas I’ve finally hit Eureka! Magnesium Chloride is much more intense effect than Epson Salt, which is Magnesium Sulfate. 20 minute foot soak or the ultimate 20 min bath...3 Cups in warm water and you”re in Heaven..Already ordered 2 more bags. Taking a soak 2-3 x a week relaxes me,sleep better and of course relieves joint and back pain. Spa like quality!

Most of the reviews I read were more focused on whether they received the dollar spray bottle or not and not the actual product figured I would offer my two cents it arrived perfect the product looks good nice professional package but for some reason I feel that this brand flakes is not as pure and strong as the ancient minerals brands maybe it’s just me I mean let’s be real all these flakes are probably made in China like everything else in the USA but I think your better off spending 5 bucks more and getting the ancient minerals brand which is what I wish I had done best of luck to everyone reading this in life I hope all your struggles and fears get conquered by you and you become who you were meant to be happy holidays bless everyone
