Superlight and thus easy to carry folded in a bag for eventual emergencies, cooking or otherwise. The plastic is very thin which works fine for me for cooking but you could always double up for extra protection.The only thing that I do not like about these aprons is that sometimes several come out of the box together and it is impossible, at least as long as the box is rather full, to insert the extras back in.

Liked them a lot. Keeps my husbands dialysis equipment clean because it puts a clean barrier between the technician and the patient.

These were perfect for our office paint party to keep everyone clean!
