Cooks Standard 3-Quart Hard Anodized Nonstick Saucepan with Lid, Black,NC-00342

First off, I will NEVER put it into my dish washer, I've ruined so many assorted cook wear (non-stick) over the years. I just soak for five minutes and with the sponge side of my scourer, I just wipe it out and rinse, easy peasy.With the lid, it weighs 2lb.8.2ozs empty.It's new so I don't know how it will hold up on the base with my small element old fashioned electric cooker.

We’ve only started to use this pan… the non-stick quality is nice!We were surprised when our thick soup started to boil on low heat.Remember: start with low heat, and turn it up a bit, ONLY if needed!This pan seems to conduct heat very well.

I use this all the time for little things, like heating water, or making a single bowl of soup. It's really well made, with a nice lid. The best thing about it is, that if you make soup, and no one's around, you can eat right out of the pot. One less thing to wash. :>)

I purchased this pot as an oatmeal pan. I cook Scottish oatmeal for breakfast almost daily, and the only downside was the time it took to clean the pan. Since oatmeal can also be used as paste, the pan could take as long to clean as to cook the oatmeal. This little pan is perfect for one serving and cleans easily. It is hard to find a pan of this size that is not part of a set costing hundreds. It is also perfect for preparing sauces and creams that will not burn. I suggest using a wooden utensil or a light weight small coated one.

I love the Cook's brand. I have skillets and pots. They make cooking so easy. Light weight and no sticking. Easy clean-up. I highly recommend Cook's!!

Super nice quality. Had issues ordering Cuisinart thru Wal-Mart, heard of this brand and thought I'd give it a shot based on the high ratings on Amazon and Macy's website. Very pleased! Sturdy, nothing peeling off, very well packaged. And great price point! For some reason 2qt and non stick is hard to find, but you can't beat this! Highly highly recommend. Great quality for the price.

Just a very nice, heavy, solid (not thin and wobbly) pan. Love the little steam release hole in the lid, so I don’t have to set the lid askew to keep it from boiling over. Will buy another.

Use to own this pot many years ago and it wore out. I couldn't find the same pot to replace it so went with other brands. All bad choices in comparison. I am so happy to get back to this little pot.

Great for cooking rice. Better for single person than big rice cooker. Vent hole means no tending to it, no spillovers. Just let it cook the rice! Great for scrambled eggs and single fried egg.Only issue is lid does not fit snug. Slides around a bit due to the rim being non-stick. Post is very heavy and I only got the 1 quart size!

Very well made. It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be so I didn't give it 5 stars.

I bought this 1 quart beauty recently and I love it. It's the perfect size to cook my steel cut oats every morning. :) It is anodized, which means the coating is extremely durable and (most importantly) free of the dangerous chemicals that are present in typical non stick coatings. This is a high quality product with solid construction and ample weight to it. When you hold it in your hand, you know it's something that will last a very long time.
