Yes, God is the same as He has been and we can do the works of Jesus here on earth. Thank you for this book to encourage and in power us once again to do the works of Jesus by the Power of His Name. His blood , and His Holy Spirit. Amen

Mel Tari shares his experience of revival and the power of God to share the gospel in a most powerful way. It’s hard not to come to tears of joy numerous times while reading it. One of my favorite books ever.

This is an amazing book! Every point he makes is backed up by verses in the Bible and full of testimonies!! It builds faith for all God can do!!

Love this book! Through reading this book my faith has been strengthened. You realize how much limit we put on God and if we take His words as they are written we can move mountains. While reading this book there were many times I'd stop and pray whether asking God to help me believe like these people or help the unbelief I didn't even realize was there. There were also times I wanted to jump and shout. Overall it's a good book I definitely recommend it.

Enjoyed the key message: God is the same God He was 2000 years ago.He has not changed but we have. The only thing that holds us back is our faith and our holiness!

I love this book. It details the events of a sovereign move of God in Indonesia in 1965. Amongst simple, more culturally primitive people -- Christian believers, members of a Presbyterian church -- the Holy Spirit was poured out. They heard the sound of a rushing wind and the members of the church, who had little or no knowledge of the infilling of the Holy Spirit with tongues, began to worship and praise the Lord and then speak in tongues. The very next day, they went out in teams, walking to surrounding villages to share the Gospel. As they went in obedience into dangerous jungles and crossing dangerous rivers, God supernaturally provided safe passage in many ways. Teams of adults, and even teams of children, went into the jungle, led by the Lord to preach at another village, and they were sovereignly protected and, arriving safely, they preached and prayed and saw miracles and many saved. In my opinion, this is how the Lord always intended the Church to conduct itself. Today's church is far removed from that ideal, with believers sitting in the churches waiting for unbelievers to come to them and forcing pastors to do most of the work.

Inspiring story about the power of God moving in a country that was so hungry for the Lord. Inspirational story for the church of North America as well.
