Attractive tool for the kitchen. I washed it immediately with soap and water and rinsed well. No staining. This is high quality stainless steel. Has a good weight and feels good and sturdy to hold.

This single piece of stainless steel twisted into a round handle works well and the handle will never come off. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

I like the solid steel construction. No handle to fall off. And the measuring edge is very handy. I don't have to search for a ruler. It works fine for cutting my bread dough.

Overall this is a top-notch product except for the fact that the markings wore off quickly with use. Maybe go with a laser-etched version?

When my niece, who is in culinary school, had a bench scraper on her Christmas wish list, I had to ask what that was! Funny, I’d had one myself for years just didn’t realize what it was called! I chose this one as it is designed exactly like mine with one important improvement - the markings for measuring are etched on as opposed to printed on where they will eventually wear off. I thought that may be important for someone going into culinary arts as their profession. I use my scraper mostly for scooping ingredients up and cutting bar cookies, fudge, etc. It is also great for smashing ingredients like nuts and I’ve used it to press graham crusts and Rice Krispie treats into the pan. It’s a handy little item to have!

What can I say it works great for cutting through the dough. I imagine it could be used in other applications.
