Q: Will this replace older 5-62 model?

I'm not familiar with 5-62 as a series, however this unit is "specific for the 6580 adjustable gauge. It has a 152 deg needle swing arc whereas the standard dial has approx 270 deg arc.

Good Afternoon, the dial is specific to the adjustable 6580-00151 in that it's dial only swings 152° vs the approx 270° on the standard gauges. If your dial swings 152° and is the SR size (2 5/16" screw center to center) it will work.

Q: What is the measurement of the actual gauge?

If you're referring to the tank depth, it covers 6" to 36" tank depths. It is an adjustable gauge design. The 6580 has a 4 bolt mounting system and we stock adapters to utilize the gauge in 1 1/2" and 2" MPT options. View product ASIN# B06XJS785Q
