Easy add -- results and install
Great low cost and easy add alternative to cat-back. Install in 25 minutes with a sawzall and sockets.Result - Start and idle have a pleasing exhaust growl that lets you know you have a V8 hemi in there, but not too onerous. Light-footed driving inside the cabin you hear the exhaust alright, which is to be expected. Cruising flat roads at any speed you will hear inside a light drone, exhaust note, but not enough to detract from whatever premium audio you may have on -- or enough of a note to turn that off and enjoy the hemi audio, lol. Roadway rises, meaning more power need, certainly raises the sound. Wide open throttle you will hear it over your stereo, until you get off it again. Oddly though, my cold air intake at WOT adds more deep growl than the exhaust. I chose this as a good step to increase performance meaning some gas mileage, rather than noise, and keep the OEM axle-back resonators and tips. This can be installed with no vehicle lift or jack, just slide under the truck, in 25 minutes -- which is a hell of a lot better than a full cat-back system. I have the air suspension so rising up to off-road 2 made for extra room but I could easily have done it at standard ride height. When you mark the cut line behind the OEM muffler, put a strip of cardstock or similar around the pipe as a guide and mark it with a marker to give more of a solid line to cut on, and get get an even square cut. Masking tape may work as well. The cut took about 30 seconds with a sawzall -- but even a hand-held hack saw could be used. The biggest issue was removing the OEM muffler from the rear hangers. Without the specific tool, I just used a couple of flat blade screwdrivers to pry our one side, then pull it out of the other, and then pull the front. Installing new... slide it onto the existing rear pipe, then rise it up and into the rear hangers, then the front, and bolt it up -- no not forget to clip on the gasket first. I also did as recommended to spray welds and joints with some high temp paint for future rest prevention. Will it help -- eh, but easy to do.With 200 miles on it, still too early to tell if any mileage or power improvement. Less back-pressure on exhaust is an obvious win, time will tell. Seems to be a minimal gain so far (certainly sounds more beefy!).In the end, a great affordable and easy install as a first step toward a potential full exhaust mod in the future. See if the added growl and interior noise is something you love - or hate. You want more -- do an axle-back resonator delete. You want less noise -- an easy swap (with a pipe coupler) back to OEM. I will also say I got more power and mileage from the performance intake than from this -- and cruising noise from the intake is zero -- but WOT from the intake is an impressive deep growl - a must-have to go along with this or maybe a first step. I think -- less restrictions in, and out, are a much needed improvement for these trucks. Good luck!!!

If you are looking for something right in between this is the one
I would post a video but honestly the microphones and speakers don’t do it justice. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on direct fit mufflers before buying this, all of them seemed like they would be to quiet or to loud. I bought this with the idea that I could remove the resonators later if I wanted more sound. After install (truck was warm) it had a nice rumble at idle, but the first cold start I realized it was exactly what I wanted. Can you get this cheaper if you just buy the muffler and took it to a muffler shop? Absolutely, but I’ve become lazy in my old age and was happy with the ease of install.

Not too loud
It's a subtle sound, but it makes it a lot louder than factory. It made my 2021 5.7 dodge sound like a truck. It's quiet enough to not make the neighbors mad. Easy install, too. Took maybe 20-30 mins. I spent more time looking for tools and finding a mat to lay on than it took me to install it.

Sounds good
Idle sounds good a little deeper , highway cruising is no different under 1500rpm not much difference between 2 and 4k really opens up. Not obnoxious at all in my opinion, . Install was straight forward. The hangers were covered in surface rust ( seems like an easy fix if they cared) wire wheel it right off and spray painted it. It's exactly what I was wanting, a little bit louder but not to much

Nice Upgrade Over Stock Exhaust
I just installed this on a 2020 Ram Big Horn 1500 Hemi where the factory muffler went bad surprisingly quick. The old muffler came off pretty easy(I have a sawzall and used a clamp and screwdriver for the rubber brackets). This new muffler installed in about 10 minutes. Nice rumble at idle, but acceleration is where you’ll really notice the improvement. Noticeable improvement with a deep growl when on the gas and a good purr while cruising. I’m happy with it so far. Kind of wish I’d gotten it sooner.

Quality muffler replacement.
The media could not be loaded. Great product. I looked at many different options, from a full cat-back system to mufflers. I am very pleased I went with this Flowmaster. Took about an hour to install. Very good sound. No drone when driving. Good idle. I drive this truck an hour to work everyday. It’s quiet when cruising but when I step on it you can hear the growl. Highly recommend for someone not wanting to spend over a grand on a full system.

It doesn't last.
This flowfx muffler was just what I wanted. It was easy to install and sounds great, and I don't get dirty looks from the neighbors. However, I started to hear an exhaust leak a couple of weeks ago. I finally investigated it and found that the muffler had split. I've had it for two years now and the warranty has expired. I've also found out through searching that this has happened to others and the split is in the same area. Just a heads up for anyone looking.

Perfect Fit, Perfect Sound
Installed on 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7L Hemi. I don't know if the 2019 has the really obnoxious knob on the end of the rear hangar bracket, but the 2020 does. Simple fix, just undo the two nuts that hold on the rear bracket hangars and pull the whole thing down with the muffler. Front slips off easy.30 min install with bi-Metal blade in a Hackzall and a socket set. Never done an exhaust before. Don't be scared, this is that easy if you own those tools and know how to use them.
